Nice work, extra points for the plan and photography work.
(5 years and 484 days ago)Okay but at least you were on the right track in this, always good to take a different perspective
(5 years and 484 days ago)I like the image in this and the low viewpoint works so well, might have got his whole shadow in,but minor point
(5 years and 484 days ago)very nice LifetimeDamage
(5 years and 484 days ago)Congrats man
(5 years and 484 days ago)Hi, I just looked again and look behind Luigy. You can see the free transform lines behind him, you might want to take them out....they are on Luigi's right.
(5 years and 487 days ago)I like this as the Mario's don't look pasted on (something I have difficulties with). Your post is simple but strong.
(5 years and 487 days ago)You did a really nice job of blending them together.
(5 years and 488 days ago)It's gone...........you are welcome.
(5 years and 488 days ago)Yup, we noticed....
(5 years and 488 days ago)The expression caught on that old fellow and the woman behind him makes me think that they must be speeding directly into ________ ! Clear image, well exposed with dof used to bring focus on the car and occupants.
(5 years and 488 days ago)Hi, you have a fine white line at the upper aspect of this shot, (viewer's) Lside going on a diagonal to his head. Those may be considered dead pixels which you can remove, or you could darken it through level manipulation but it will affect the whole shot.
(5 years and 488 days ago)YAYAYAYA....Congrats!... (again)
(5 years and 488 days ago)Nice dreamy shot and CONGRATULATIONS on number one!
(5 years and 488 days ago)Well done for this
(5 years and 488 days ago)Nice catch here of victorious emotion, albeit a bit staged. Not sure though if this image starts with the letter v.
(5 years and 488 days ago)Superman.
(5 years and 489 days ago)This is a metaphorical image that brings to mind "Him". I find this to be a very intimate image and therein lies its strength. You could have easily used a gradient tool at perhaps 15 % to draw in the corners and make "Him" pop out at us even more. Technically well done, sharp, well contrasted, the ice is white not blue, good exposure. Overall a lovely post.
(5 years and 489 days ago)Hmmm now that is good to know. Wish you had put that up in the description. I will try this technique one of these days now all thanks to you...just you.
(5 years and 490 days ago)I agree with you wholeheartedly and your title matches so perfectly how this little one feels about it...it is the best and he is very determined to ingest it ALL. The emotive element of this image is strong and makes it a winner in my eyes. Your technical skills are evident as is your artistic lean!
(5 years and 490 days ago)There it is again, nice one also with the fog. You could do a 4 piece collage of the same tree with a different story in each frame.
(5 years and 490 days ago)This is such a common scene whether in Thailand with the water buffalo or in your neck of the woods the photo is idyllic and you did a great job in capturing the spirit of the scene. Loved it.
(5 years and 490 days ago)You have chutzpah for trying something new and stepping out of the box....I applaud you and this is inspirational. I like the blur up top and the sharpness in the middle. A different way of looking at a tree. For me, a tighter crop would not have hurt, but that is just me.
(5 years and 490 days ago)Lovely, re-awakens the child within and brought a smile to my face.
(5 years and 490 days ago)Better.
(5 years and 491 days ago)Luigy looks a bit rough for wear. Too much jumping in and out of pipes? He needs refining around the edges.
(5 years and 491 days ago)Needs feet.
(5 years and 492 days ago)A belated congratulations.....
(5 years and 493 days ago)Ahh, you were going to try the walking on water trick?
(5 years and 493 days ago)Fascinating. What on earth are you standing on ?.... A mirror? I decided it cant be a puddle because the shoes still look dry.
(5 years and 494 days ago)The bright spot in the center tends to grab the attention though. Not sure if you wanted that to be the focal point?
If it was mine, I would crop it just below that bright spot to keep the focus on the feet and that mysterious ground.
WOW it looks very impressive and this waterway gives passage into the heart of Europe. Well done.
(5 years and 494 days ago)The sharpness in this is very nice and the lamplights are not overblown. The rooftops peeking into the frame give sense of scale too.
(5 years and 495 days ago)I like how you have included the environment in which these fellows are working in, a good photo.
(5 years and 495 days ago)The grass doesn't look greener on the other side?
(5 years and 495 days ago)Congrats again Lifetime
(5 years and 495 days ago)Congrats Lifetime, very poetic
(5 years and 495 days ago)I just can't seem to get the emojis right....grrrr
(5 years and 495 days ago)Congrats to you mate :y: !!!
(5 years and 495 days ago)Source links? SBS?
(5 years and 495 days ago)Congrats!
(5 years and 495 days ago)Congratulations
(5 years and 496 days ago)Congratulations
(5 years and 496 days ago)Congrats!
(5 years and 496 days ago)Nice record of these people working, quite a busy looking photo, but guess nature of setting in this
(5 years and 496 days ago)You are right about that but not all graphic artists are also photographers so some are forced to do the hard yards to find free resources and manipulate them to suit.
(5 years and 497 days ago)I love your sunset photo by the way.
Good luck in the contest.
A fun chop and great use of your own photos. You went to a lot of trouble to photograph that light in the bag. Lucky it didn't start burning.
(5 years and 498 days ago)I do it digitally. I store my photos on Picasa (free from Google) and they have a soft focus app. I rarely use it but now that I have seen your work I might just try it out more often. Thank you for taking the time to explain this to me...appreciated.
(5 years and 499 days ago)How is an Iris blur different from soft focus vignette? (with the center being sharp) Is there a difference?
(5 years and 499 days ago)An "IRIS BLUR" thank you. This looks tons better after post processing. A great low light photo.
