The eye light just pulls you in. Very nicely done.
(5 years and 3239 days ago)Oh yeah! i I feel that:
(5 years and 3239 days ago)I like the deliberate garish look you've achieved which is so appropriate to the title. In my opinion, if you'd been making eye-contact with yourself in the mirror, it would've been a more engaging shot.
(5 years and 3239 days ago)Love what you've done. Good luck.
(5 years and 3239 days ago)An hour! ...and four hours!!! You are very patient I have to say.
(5 years and 3239 days ago)Lovely. Just wondering how long one render took?
(5 years and 3239 days ago)Excellent rendering. Good luck.
(5 years and 3239 days ago)Great touch with the incense sticks and religious book holder. The one thing that I feel is odd is that shouldn't the book's spine have been on the inside, along the spine of your wooden book holder? It seems to be on the wrong side for opening. I also think the shadow density is somewhat strong and less toppish camera angle might have looked better.
(5 years and 3239 days ago)Haha! Never thought the cat's facial expression could work so well on a bull. Good luck !
(5 years and 3239 days ago)This is great. Love it
(5 years and 3239 days ago)Brush detail's lovely.
(5 years and 3240 days ago)Absolutely beautiful, some variation in the colour of the sky would've been nice IMO.
(5 years and 3240 days ago)Good idea, feel sorry for the poor cat
(5 years and 3240 days ago)so, what useless thing does it do?
(5 years and 3240 days ago)Magical ambience to this painting. Congrats on first
(5 years and 3241 days ago)Whoo! Good one
(5 years and 3241 days ago)Beautiful. Just wish the cat fur had a little light gold in it to match the greater part of the picture. Just my opinion. Good luck with it!
(5 years and 3241 days ago)This is amazing, if only the sky too could have been stylized.
(5 years and 3242 days ago)Congrats on such an amazing 1st entry! Look forward to seeing more stunning work from you.
(5 years and 3242 days ago)A good effort, though I wish the background treatment didn't compete with the journal texture and look so flat.
(5 years and 3244 days ago)Colour and composition is lovely.
(5 years and 3246 days ago)Some good modelling. The light on the white parts though do seem a little too bright.
(5 years and 3246 days ago)You've mad them look brand new.
(5 years and 3253 days ago)Great technique and beautiful result.
(5 years and 3253 days ago)Totally awesome on so many levels. You took no shortcuts, there's such a lot of hard work apparent in this picture. Despite all the serious work put into it, it's still humorous and it looks like you had a lot of fun doing it. Could you share how long it took you to do this from start to finish?
(5 years and 3253 days ago)Good attention to detail and a great concept. Good luck
(5 years and 3253 days ago)Spoilt for choice here Amazing idea and excellent shot.
(5 years and 3256 days ago)Gorgeous. Lovely idea as well. Good luck!
(5 years and 3256 days ago)Crisp and well finished.
(5 years and 3258 days ago)Amazing mood caught on camera, that makes you smile .
(5 years and 3258 days ago)I like that you've told a story as opposed to taking the usual product shot. Well done on that! Choice of mug is also great LOL. I only wish the subject was sharper and photo was less grainy. Also, the roundish thing in the foreground is distracting. I think the horizon line should not have been tilted, unless it was more so, so that it seemed deliberate rather than a mistake.
(5 years and 3258 days ago)Super adorable, but more importantly excellent shot. Lighting, depth of filed and framing is amazing! Catching just the right moment with animals is also no small feat. Good luck!
(5 years and 3258 days ago)So do I and especially if chocolate is also part of the picture It;s obvious that the positions of your things have been thought out well (maybe a little too well!), the framing though could've been better. I like your choice of environment though.
(5 years and 3258 days ago)"Chai" is the word for tea in the languages of India and Pakistan. Whatever this is, is gorgeous to look at. Would love to try it! I do wish though that the shot had a little more contrast.
(5 years and 3258 days ago)A nice example of latte art. Although I understand that the background is part of the ambience of this shot, but I still feel that it's taking away from it. Also I think you could have positioned the spoon better, but I like the reflections on it. GL.
(5 years and 3258 days ago)The frame, colours and composition turns this regular cuppa into what looks like a painting. Simple but thought. Good luck
(5 years and 3258 days ago)Kids, this is where coffee comes from I like that you took a risk and chose to show this rather than the actual beverage. It would've been nice to have some coffee dripping off of it too. Maybe a lower camera angle and a vertical composition might have set this shot apat. Just my opinion. Well done.
(5 years and 3258 days ago)This is a perfect product shot.. and it makes me wanna get some coffee right now. Well done
(5 years and 3258 days ago)I like the subdued colour scheme but I'm not crazy about the composition. How about if the subject had been diagonal in the frame? You've focused on the label and hand rather than the bag...just wondering why?
(5 years and 3258 days ago)What isn't amazing about this shot? The lighting, the action, the texture on the ground and even the choice of mug...all work together perfectly and takes the thought of making tea or coffee from the mundane to the surreal. Breath-taking job author!
(5 years and 3258 days ago)Ha ha, interesting idea.
(5 years and 3258 days ago)That is one strong cup of tea. A familira sight and an amazing close up. Well done.
(5 years and 3258 days ago)Lovely. You've captured the mood of calm when drinking a warm lemony cup of green tea. I'm assuming it must be green tea
(5 years and 3258 days ago)The mouth is smudged unrealistically and you can even see the original one! The eyes don't have any change in expression to go with a sad mouth. If you were calling it "Feeling Old" then maybe you could've made her look more aged and tired. That would've been great.
(5 years and 3260 days ago)Erathion, I agree about the cleavage which is why I asked the author why use this particular picture...because it is honestly revealing enough to be distracting. SO maybe there should've been some bruising abuse in that area too ...no? Sorry, I know that sounds awful :O
(5 years and 3260 days ago)I my opinion, the eye you've created on the happy face looks quite fake. It's much larger and not as deep set as the original ones. Otherwise, the changed expression is great.
(5 years and 3260 days ago)Looks very believable. At first I thought you'd also changed the expressions in the eyes of the second one which very few entrants have done. But I compared the eyes in the two pictures closely and don't think you have. So your eyes' expressions work for both a happy and sad face, which I think is quite rare...and mysterious too!! If that's you, I think you look good IMO
(5 years and 3260 days ago)Reminds me of a character in "Pan's Labyrinth".
(5 years and 3261 days ago)It is beautiful and I'm prone to agree with what ramsesje above has pointed out. But there are other entries here with the same issue.
(5 years and 3261 days ago)I like that you've made the king's face. I also like your technique.
