(5 years and 3608 days ago)Well, the traditional drawing is a special representation of inner world . I think that -in this drawings- we want to find more than a realistic representation. We discuss here about design and composition, about sublimation of reality, technique, including tonal development, about artist's strong sense of individuality and inventiveness and so on...Even here are rules, contest rules....we are free to represent the reality as distorted as we feel....as soon as the image awaken interest in an artistic way....Well....it is my opinion.....and yes, in my point of view, I can see a reflexion here
(5 years and 3613 days ago)Uhhh, that's not a reflection.... the angle of incidence should be the same as angle of reflection.... Meaning it should be vertical in this case...
(5 years and 3613 days ago)It seems that he stay on an ice rink looking to his empty face...Nothing distracting in the background...Interesting view of emptiness.... Goog luck to you!
(5 years and 3613 days ago)Way better than I could ever do but more of a shadow than a reflection. I think a reflection would be directly below the subject on a horizontal surface. An angled surface might have a full reflection. Still, really nice work.
(5 years and 3614 days ago)Happy new year to you too! And good luck!
(5 years and 3614 days ago)Who ever cleans the floor after dark does a darn good job, and deserves to be paid more! Nice entry!
(5 years and 3614 days ago)the gradient effect gives a lovely colour focus to your image.
(5 years and 3626 days ago)I think you were going for more effect with the lines, correct? It does resemble a previous entry. However, I give you props for using the original source well and I'll always toast to this wonderful program PHOTOSHOP.
(5 years and 3627 days ago)CMYK46 -- that's not constructive. If you don't like the lines say that but don't be like this. I like the lines and think that they add a little je nas sais quois to the work.
(5 years and 3631 days ago)lots of work author.. nice image... i agree with a few of the adjustments that would help to improve.
(5 years and 3633 days ago)What's with the silly lines?
(5 years and 3633 days ago)You've got cracks running over the arm's edges.Very simple fix. You must have just lost interests in this entry. Probably happens to everybody.
(5 years and 3635 days ago)You've got the same cracks running through the spine and ribs...
(5 years and 3637 days ago)Edit: You could have fixed the crack thing since my comment. Guess you don't care to...you still have time.
The cracks also need highlights at the rightside of the dark shadow lines.
