Obviously a beginners job, a couple of quick comments. Play around with the different masking tools, particularly the pen tool, and have a go with dodge/burn to get some depth in the cloth - add creases, shadows and highlights. Have a play and look at some online tutorials - but keep practising and having fun!

What is he naked or something? Why can't you post the picture? The vignette seems rather unnecessary and just seems to make it look off balance.

author.. just place the photo in your SBS and place a simple privacy bar over the eyes of your friend (a simple censor black bar) this will protect his identity but at the same time make it clear that it is your photo.. at least that works for me when I'm posting personal friend photos (good luck!)

If it's your photo you need to post the uncut image in SBS...

DONT GIVE UP! Seriously, everyone starts somewhere. The more you practice the better you become. The most you put photos up, the more creative critism you will get and learn from to become better.

Sorry but this is a pretty poor job, the cutting out was clearly done quickly and there is little overall asthetic appeal imho. There was a lot more potential in this tongue twister.

i see where youre going with this but the eyes dont look like the kid is smiling, if you could cut another image in there it would help. Also you need to change the colours on the scarf, have a play with blending modes til you get one that looks right.

everything is making sense dat a car is mashed and broken and rusted and with your coconut look also its giving good signal but showing exact coconut at the back of your car has made it meaningless..i mean if u wanted to show a coconut you could have used a normal car to design it.as it is the coconut texture is visible all over if you only could have edited the back portion of the car...newaz if ur satisfied its kool..

It's a nice idea, but the fire doesn't rook realistic. You should use Mask Pro to cut off the black background from the fire.

About the bump, thing is that, the bump only simulates bumpyness of what is pointi to the camera. If you want to see bumps on the side of the objects, you need to use displacement maps. Like the Strawberry jar in this contest.

Ok, I see.. bump maps doesn't have much effect without specularity and/or reflections. Try experimenting with those values and you'll see the difference.

I suppose you are a beginner? There's a lot of things things that could have been done, but here's some things you can experiment with: It's not that easy to make out how you have been texturing, but for learning you could try applying the bump map (the one available in your source url) to the bump channel and make it specular and slightly reflective.

Casettes, vinyl and disco is definitely the 70's but smokin' pot will never go out of style. Nice entry. GL
