(5 years and 2891 days ago)Congrats
(5 years and 2891 days ago)Nice Job Congrats
(5 years and 2891 days ago)This is a great black and white and awesome effect with the ghosting.
(5 years and 2892 days ago)Because a lot of the new coins (like the nickel) don't have them in profile. They are looking right at you
(5 years and 2892 days ago)congratulations on the victory
(5 years and 2892 days ago)Definitely much better
(5 years and 2893 days ago)Excellent lighting! Love it!
(5 years and 2894 days ago)dope
(5 years and 2894 days ago)So mossy...fog or smoke isn't fog or smoke because it's not just water (H2O) vapor? As a firefighter and smoker...I happen to know that fog, smog and smoke are normally made of several hundred products of combustion, no matter what the source...does it sincerely matter? Does it warrant such a response? IMHO, NO! The effect is the same...as a matter of fact the Author never claimed these bubbles were 'full of fog' but rather 'smoke'....smoke is a by-product of combustion, containing from 10's to 100's of different chemicals depending on the temperature of the chemical and physical reaction...
(5 years and 2895 days ago)That's because fog machines work by burning small amounts of a chemical in short, pulsed, bursts to produce the "fog." It's not just water vapor like real fog...
(5 years and 2895 days ago)interesting effect, but honestly, it really does not work for me here...would have preferred to see a nice crisp image...
(5 years and 2895 days ago)Nice... almost looks like there's a fish-eye effect. Or is that my old eyes?
(5 years and 2895 days ago)Nice. Couldn't do that with the new coins though.
(5 years and 2895 days ago)Glad you did... I am a fan of HDR but you got a higher vote without it here.
(5 years and 2895 days ago)Don't know who the author is, but I feel the HDR has been overdone on what is probably an amazing shot. The sky is just too muddy, IMO
(5 years and 2896 days ago)cool effect
(5 years and 2896 days ago)Appears to be a dry water ride, not an actual roller coaster, but neat effect anyway
(5 years and 2896 days ago)Interesting shot. How was it done?
(5 years and 2896 days ago)Very nice!
(5 years and 2897 days ago)Cool. My dad used to make smoke bubbles for us (before he died of lung cancer)
(5 years and 2897 days ago)A beautifl effect. You are doing some great HDR
(5 years and 2897 days ago)Primo!
(5 years and 2897 days ago)B.E.A.U.T.I.M.O.U.S!
(5 years and 2897 days ago)Did you use HDR? There is a bit of a halo around the palm fronds
(5 years and 2898 days ago)almost looks like some undersea creature
(5 years and 2898 days ago)love the focus on the tips of the plant/flower great depth of field and use of bokeh..would love to see a shot of it in color.
(5 years and 2899 days ago)great fine, and nice composition too
(5 years and 2899 days ago)great
(5 years and 2899 days ago)goood choice
(5 years and 2899 days ago)Attractive and different, good luck
(5 years and 2899 days ago)don't know if you have changed it, or if it's my screen, but it looks better now.
(5 years and 2900 days ago)Duckweed, the green stuff this pelican is swimming in makes for a wonderful emerald colour backdrop for this fine subject. (if you have an aquarium with gold fish, duckweed is also a wonderful fresh fond source they will gobble down and grow bigger from).
(5 years and 2900 days ago)I really like the diagonal line your subject leads in from as it parts the weed moving closer. It seems to add to the feeling of motion.
Good Job!
I like the contrast, but the lines and angles really make this shot...well done on the crop and composition author. In a contest with so many entries it's difficult to get a shot that stands out. Wonderful work author.
(5 years and 2901 days ago)That's very interesting!
