Very nice composition to this photo. They eye travels around and back to the plant very easily. Good job.
(5 years and 2640 days ago)Cropping the right slightly to get rid of those two flash reflections would really strengthen this image - they are a bit bright and distracting from your focal point.
(5 years and 2640 days ago)Wonderful angle and timing, with the eye of the background swan framed by the neck of the foreground swan...Great job!
(5 years and 2640 days ago)They're probably texting each other...lol! Nice photo.
(5 years and 2640 days ago)Stunning color and the reflection capture is wonderful. Excellent photo!
(5 years and 2640 days ago)Great mood, excellent use of the theme.
(5 years and 2650 days ago)Wonderful color and composition - timing is everything, and you caught the perfect moment with this shot. Excellent job.
(5 years and 2650 days ago)Really nice depth, clarity, and color. Well done.
(5 years and 2650 days ago)Nice sky behind the statue, good capture.
(5 years and 2650 days ago)A bit too dark, it's hard to make out the film projector, but the overall composition is very well done.
(5 years and 2650 days ago)Except for the bench leg in the lower left hand corner being "cut into" by the sunset, this is a very original take, nice work.
(5 years and 2650 days ago)Wonderful capture, exquisite subject matter. The palest rose looks sculpted from porcelain.
(5 years and 2650 days ago)Definitely one to be appreciated in High-Res. Great photo!
(5 years and 2650 days ago)This seems too incomplete with the top cut off. It's hard to appreciate it as a sculpture since the eye cannot envision it as a whole. It just looks like a portion of a log with some cuts made to it.
(5 years and 2650 days ago)Beautiful composition, but neither the blue of the sky, nor the deep gray of the car are pastel.
(5 years and 2650 days ago)The statue is a bit too tight to the left edge, but a nice find nonetheless.
(5 years and 2650 days ago)Good composition, nice balance.
(5 years and 2650 days ago)Nice perspective, good lighting.
(5 years and 2650 days ago)This looks a bit out of focus. Shame the left side cut off the edge of the statue.
(5 years and 2650 days ago)The butterfly shows some nice pastels, you might want to crop it tighter to de-emphasize the saturated flower color.
(5 years and 2650 days ago)Love the originality of this. Excellent thinking "outside the box!"
(5 years and 2650 days ago)Wonderful lighting, fantastic effect of the "man" behind the glass. Great mood.
(5 years and 2650 days ago)Wonderful capture, the shadows really give this a dynamic look!
(5 years and 2650 days ago)Very imaginative and creative. Nice work!
(5 years and 2650 days ago)Great photo, fabulous cake! Whoever created that fondant is a true artist, glad you were able to capture it for posterity!
(5 years and 2650 days ago)Beautifully rich color, nice job.
(5 years and 2650 days ago)Great capture! The values are wonderful, with the bear's outline and the table surface visible. Did you have to make any post-processing adjustments, or did your camera capture this?
(5 years and 2650 days ago)Great focus, the visual texture is wonderful!
(5 years and 2650 days ago)Really blurry on the left hand side.
(5 years and 2650 days ago)That's no "man with child," except in the most generic sense - it's Saint Joseph...Patron saint of carpentry, employment, an easy death and prevention from starvation (symbolized with fava beans, Chianti optional)...
(5 years and 2652 days ago)The Christ child is holding an orb (the world), and the lily Saint Joseph is holding signifies purity, virtue, and life.
More data than you probably want to know:

A difficult shot, considering the strong sunlight and snow, but well done. Good clarity.
Beautiful composition for this photo. Nice balance and values. Well done!
(5 years and 2652 days ago)It would have looked more dynamic if you had included the horse's legs...The large amount of negative space on the right accentuates the paraplegic effect of the poor horse...
(5 years and 2652 days ago)Great concept, but the composition is a bit lacking. There is so much negative space at the top of the photo, it is then visually disconcerting that the bottom of the card is cut off, with 2/3 of the face showing. The bottom face would have been better totally cropped to enhance the "lonely" feel of the facial expression, as would having all the other court cards in a gathering away from the jack, or a queen facing away from him, with another Jack facing her.
(5 years and 2652 days ago)Technically, the focus is off on this photo, with both faces blurry, and only the center of card and the sash in the middle crisp and focused (auto focus?).
I did not say it was "off theme," just that the shutters are not the focal point.
(5 years and 2654 days ago)A VERY SIMPLE test would be to show the photo to any 1 or 2 people, and ask, "What do you think this is a photo of?" Give them 2 chances to get it right. 3 or 4 even.
While "windows" would be close, "shutters" would probably NOT be guessed at.
So yes, while the photo is "on theme," that does not mean it accurately or effectively captures the theme, which are shutters. Not houses, foliage, cars, or other visually distracting elements...
Just sayin'...
You have so many sources, hard to find which one. It will help in the future if you title them such as "head and neck," "lungs," "wound," etc. instead of "Source 1," "Source 2," etc...
(5 years and 2654 days ago)You're right, the body is unaltered from your source. It then becomes your overall composition that makes it seem too large and poorly placed within the image. This is a visual "illusion" created by the eye's movement from your other elements, colors, and value choices. But since your focus was a zombie effect, more than an optical illusion of distortion, I still stand by my last statement that your technical execution needs work to create a more visually believable balance of the elements used.
Beautiful shading, nice quote. Good job!
(5 years and 2654 days ago)Very nice balance of space. Good composition.
(5 years and 2654 days ago)Great mood, but the proportions of the chair to the room are terribly off, unless the ceiling is about four feet above the floor...
(5 years and 2654 days ago)She looks too cut and paste, like she is floating above the walk path. The head is also anatomically off, with the face looking too large and far away from the rest of the head and neck.
(5 years and 2654 days ago)An interesting concept, but the technical execution needs a bit more attention to detail.
Great clock, but the gift shop behind it is distracting. This would have been much more powerful if you had cropped all the visual clutter away.
(5 years and 2654 days ago)A bit too shallow depth of field, the end cards are too blurry.
(5 years and 2654 days ago)I don't see a dock or anyone making out, and the sky looks more like sunset than 10 PM.
(5 years and 2654 days ago)Wonderfully dynamic capture!
(5 years and 2654 days ago)Great capture, nice colors!
(5 years and 2654 days ago)Interesting CBR (Chopped Beyond Recognition), but so much of the original image has been lost, this could have been created with any image.
(5 years and 2654 days ago)A bit too shallow depth of field, it looks too blurry and dark, with the 10 almost unreadable.
(5 years and 2654 days ago)Too bad the mouth is blurred, otherwise, this is a good photo.
(5 years and 2654 days ago)What letter does this resemble???
(5 years and 2654 days ago)The shutters do not seem to be the focal point of this photo, they appear to just be part of the image, like the cars, railings, and foliage.
(5 years and 2654 days ago)Generally, smiling is considered flirtatious...At least that always worked better for me than the appearance that they might not want to turn their back on me...
(5 years and 2658 days ago)
