The car hurts the concept, it just looks like a paint job, rather than showing a person that is half human, half horse...
(5 years and 3035 days ago)I really like the color scheme of this photo. The cork is a great focal point, with the lines and shapes wonderfully interactive to move the eye around the composition and back to the cork. Very nice job!
(5 years and 3036 days ago)Awesome reflection. The colors in this are wonderful.
(5 years and 3036 days ago)The vertical white line is very distracting for this photo, and the nose profile is somewhat compromised by tree silhouettes in the background. You'd be better off cropping the photo to get rid of as much of the trees and fence on the left as you can, and then Burning the white line down to be less dominant, since Burn and Dodge are allowed.
(5 years and 3036 days ago)I really like the subtle lighting on the window sill and side. This photo tells a nice visual story. Well done.
(5 years and 3036 days ago)Great composition. The shapes formed by the water reflection really make this photo dynamic and lovely.
(5 years and 3036 days ago)Way too dark. It could be a statue of Larry, Moe and Curly or any three strangers off the street. There is no detail to let the viewer identify who the statue portrays, and their silhouettes are not synonymous poses for them, either.
(5 years and 3036 days ago)Congratulations on a very well deserved win!
(5 years and 3036 days ago)This looks like a painting brought to life. Simply beautiful work!
(5 years and 3037 days ago)The flash seems a bit too strong, creating very harsh shadows, but still an interesting shot. I've never seen a wine cup like that.
(5 years and 3037 days ago)This looks a bit too low contrast and kind of grayed out. There's no real depth to the trees and the sky looks overcast, even though you can see some blue in it.
(5 years and 3037 days ago)Nice tonal range for such a small subject. The toothpick has good detail, and I like the background.
(5 years and 3037 days ago)It's pretty blurry looking, and too high contrast.
(5 years and 3037 days ago)This is cute! Great facial expression, and I like the position of the hands.
(5 years and 3037 days ago)It looks over-processed. The values are blown out, with the lights pushed to almost glowing white. HDR should display a wide dynamic range of luminance from dark to light, not just push the extremes at both ends.
(5 years and 3037 days ago)It looks fine to me on a 19" monitor at Hi-Res...There is some color noise, but that's almost a given with point and shoot cameras.
(5 years and 3037 days ago)Definitely not your average "zoo photo." Nicely done!
Beautiful composition and focus. I can almost taste it, it looks so real!
(5 years and 3037 days ago)That is some of the most delicious salt! Never saw it this close up, it's beautiful. Very nice photo.
(5 years and 3037 days ago)Hard to appreciate it in black and white. It could be a rock, it could be a moldy fig...Just not enough visual contrast for all the subtle tones in hazlenuts.
(5 years and 3038 days ago)Some things truly are better in color, in my opinion...
Or, you can clone in another leg. Or add a leg from some other source image. Or warp her skirt to be longer on one side hiding an imaginary leg...
(5 years and 3038 days ago)It's lit a bit better, but she still looks like a woman with only one leg. Kind of like a peg with hair wearing a skirt...lol!
Where's Sunday to make this a "whole week?"
(5 years and 3038 days ago)It doesn't look real. It's so unusual and pretty, I thought it was glazed ceramic...What a wonderful find! Great photo, with a wonderful balance of values and colors. Really nice!!!
(5 years and 3038 days ago)It's too hard to make out the dragonfly with the dark values in the background.
(5 years and 3038 days ago)Great photo, just a bit too blurry. It would have been better with more focus on the cap.
(5 years and 3038 days ago)There is no ground reference point, so it is hard to tell how low you are in this photograph. The flowers could be 2 - 3 feet tall for all we know...
(5 years and 3038 days ago)Great image. Good composition and nice blending. Well done!
(5 years and 3038 days ago)What a lovely photo, the lines in her face accentuate her visage, rather than just looking like wrinkles...Very moving visual tribute to your mom. Well done!
(5 years and 3038 days ago)Too bad the shoreline bisects the image in the middle of the picture plane. It basically cuts your image in two, rather than enhancing the directional towards the sun...
(5 years and 3038 days ago)With all the pink, it looks more fuschia than purple, but it's a lovely photo nonetheless.
(5 years and 3038 days ago)Ooooh. What type of cookie/biscuit is this? It looks yummy...Interesting perspective, with such a non-committal background, showing the top of it this way.
(5 years and 3038 days ago)This is hilarious on many levels, from the other dog's expression, to the expression of the dog with the ears. It works surprising well in black and white. Great job!
(5 years and 3038 days ago)Very interesting photo! Nice focus.
(5 years and 3038 days ago)The edges of the beaver tail are a bit too hard, and the fur looks strange suddenly stopping at those hard edges. You might slightly "fluff" the edges with a brush and the smudge tool, but at the very least, slightly go over them with the blur tool at a low setting to help them blend better with the background.
(5 years and 3038 days ago)The coffee stain on the paper and table looks too fake. Such a stain would spread on the paper, not be "perfect." There's also too much dead space around your focal point. It would be stronger if you cropped most of that off, and brought the main elements of the newspaper and magazine more into dominance.
(5 years and 3038 days ago)Fabulous detail, Love the tiny bits of yellow pollen visible on the petals. Very nice photo!
(5 years and 3038 days ago)The pizza is a weird color, but still a decent colorization job.
(5 years and 3038 days ago)Excellent Droste effect!
(5 years and 3038 days ago)Great reflection!
(5 years and 3038 days ago)It's too dark to clearly make out the pose, so it just looks like she only has one leg...
(5 years and 3038 days ago)Interesting idea, but the execution needs a lot of work...
(5 years and 3038 days ago)The whites are too bright for a dim alley, those teeth almost glow.
The alley itself is crooked, leaning down to the right.
The proportion of all the animals is terribly inconsistent. The parrot is huge, with the frog even larger, while the elephant is tiny, and the giraffe is either too short, or is standing between floors of the building - the angle of it's neck doesn't provide for it possibly being lying down...And why doesn't the miniature elephant have any ears???
The lighting of everything is jumbled, with nothing corresponding to the back lighting. Lit on top, lit from the front, and the oversized lion cub is lit from some non-existent spotlight that doesn't seem to illuminate anything else that low to the ground, not even its feet...
Fantasy is one thing, but this almost crosses the line to nonsensical. You've done better work, this just looks hurried with no attention to detail.
Great focus, I can see a very fine spider web on the stem.
(5 years and 3039 days ago)Beautiful angle. I love the way the petals fill the image.
(5 years and 3039 days ago)Great composition of the image. The light part of the backgound balances the darker part beautifully. Very nice photo.
(5 years and 3039 days ago)Great light reflection on the bottom of the glass. Beautiful colors and values surrounding the beer.
(5 years and 3039 days ago)It's too dark, overall. You can barely make out the "Intel," and the rest of the image is to dark to appear as computer anything. It's just a bunch of shadows.
(5 years and 3039 days ago)A little too much excess space around the dragonfly. Since it is the focal point, and since it appears to be fairly tiny, I'd crop most of the excess off, to let the dragonfly be more dominant in the photo.
(5 years and 3039 days ago)The beverage is too out of focus. This is a photo of a cup, rather than a beverage...
(5 years and 3039 days ago)What type of monkey is this, and why is it "dangerous?"
(5 years and 3039 days ago)Very nice lighting from beneath. Or is this photo upside down?
(5 years and 3039 days ago)This looks awful black and white to me...
