LOLOL! Great image!
(5 years and 3061 days ago)Have you seen the new movie short that came out?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4drucg1A6Xk
Wow, what a difference between the two! The detail is stunning. Well done!
(5 years and 3061 days ago)LOL! Great photo - Would have been even more believable if you'd taken the picture on the same background...took a moment for me to figure it out...
(5 years and 3061 days ago)~M
Love the reflection! Did you have to write it backwards?
(5 years and 3061 days ago)Where's Mr. Haney?
(5 years and 3061 days ago)Lovely color and contrast.
The rain drops look like amoebas under a microscope - there are no water trails, and they are illuminated oddly...The solid color sky, and the crude silhouette scribble drawing just emphasize the "not really rain-like" effect.
(5 years and 3061 days ago)It just looks like something done quickly without much effort, sorry.
This is truly a stunning and awesome photo. Where is it?
(5 years and 3061 days ago)I love this! Very creative and funny. Excellent and clean execution. My fav!
(5 years and 3061 days ago)Beautiful depth and colors!
(5 years and 3061 days ago)Nice angle!
(5 years and 3061 days ago)Interesting photo. Pity the sign isn't a bit sharper to easily read what it says.
(5 years and 3061 days ago)The size proportions are odd on this one, with your dog appearing huge next to your son dog...The son dog also appears to be looking up, not at your dog, which adds to the sense that it's not really "fool the eye." It looks like two random dog images put together...
(5 years and 3061 days ago)Love the storefront, great image!
(5 years and 3061 days ago)Oooh, a mystery! Nice mood.
(5 years and 3061 days ago)Great find!
(5 years and 3061 days ago)Nice job, good coloring!
(5 years and 3061 days ago)This is simply awesome, I love it!
(5 years and 3061 days ago)Very interesting!
(5 years and 3061 days ago)Really nice capture - it almost looks like a snail made of water...
(5 years and 3061 days ago)Great focal depth and composition!
(5 years and 3061 days ago)Too dark, a silhouette effect doesn't work when the main shape is fairly shapeless...And the rain looks more like flying straws - the sharp angles on the ends don't connote "rain..."
(5 years and 3061 days ago)Lots of ground cover lost. Are you in a drought? Really nice color range, good photo.
(5 years and 3061 days ago)Very clean work and quite imaginative!
(5 years and 3061 days ago)Nice mood! I'd maybe add some stars to the sky, but I like this!
(5 years and 3061 days ago)You caught him at just the right instant that he looks like he only has one leg and is leaning as if he's starting to fall over!
(5 years and 3061 days ago)The photo tilts ever so slightly down to the left...(about 1 1/2 degrees by Photoshop's measurement tool). If you level it out at the top step, it would strengthen the image considerably.
(5 years and 3061 days ago)Nice picture from a moving car!
(5 years and 3061 days ago)Elegant subject, nice composition.
(5 years and 3061 days ago)Very impressive image. How many times did you have to shoot this before you captured just the right moment, and what was your shutter speed?
(5 years and 3061 days ago)Very nice composition. I like how the water looks like a solid surface.
(5 years and 3061 days ago)Beautiful photo that captures the water without looking blurry!
(5 years and 3061 days ago)Dramatic change, nice work!
(5 years and 3061 days ago)Imaginative and cute!
(5 years and 3061 days ago)Ummm...now you've lost all major reference to the tilted bulb contest source...Just having it as the bright spots on the flowers is a minimal use at best, making this a nice CBR, but a bit of a topic stretch...But it'll probably still win, because too many voters couldn't care less about the amount of contest source when compared to the "wow" factor.
(5 years and 3061 days ago)The top part looks much better now.
(5 years and 3062 days ago)Mucho gooder! Everything looks like one image, now. Nice fix!
(5 years and 3062 days ago)Pixlr is wonderful for online manipulations, and since you don't have to download it onto your PC, it doesn't take up disk space. The tools are powerful, with most of the more important ones similar to Photoshop - Levels, Curves, Hue & Sat, Brightness & Contrast, etc...It also has a good selection of filters (Gaussian and other Blurs, Sharpen, Diffuse, Noise, Emboss, etc.), as well as Burn and Dodge, Bloat and Shrink, and a decent color replace tool.
(5 years and 3062 days ago)It's almost like having "Photoshop Lite" available for free online...I'll stack it up against GIMP any day, Robdvn...
Author, you'll find that you can use a lot of basic Photoshop tutorials with Pixlr, since the tools are similarly marked. Selections are the most important thing you can master, and the Lasso Tool and Magic Wand will end up being some of your best friends in Photo Manipulation... Have fun, glad I could help!

The source photo is too blue and cool in tone, while the bears are too yellowed and warm in tone. Maybe apply a cooling filter to the bears and desaturate the blues of the contest source so everything is a bit more consistent.
(5 years and 3062 days ago)I like the first shot better...More focus on the house, no people, better angle.
(5 years and 3062 days ago)Too much dead space at the top with the fog. At least the water at the bottom offers some ripples and a whirlpool...
(5 years and 3062 days ago)The fact that this is a real photo, and not a manipulation is hard to comprehend...Nice photo!
(5 years and 3062 days ago)Looks "heavenly!"
(5 years and 3062 days ago)Great photo, from the smoke, to the lighting, to the manly arm!
(5 years and 3062 days ago)This is utterly delightful!
(5 years and 3062 days ago)The left leg looks terribly deformed, not to mention much longer than the right...You also need cleaner edges where you cut yourself out of the original picture, there's a white line on the head and the right leg...
(5 years and 3062 days ago)Since you don't have yellow sneakers, maybe you can put a fishing pole in your hand and a bobber in the glass.
The blown out values of the lights over dominate the composition, making the stairs a secondary focal point. A polarizing filter would have helped this a lot.
(5 years and 3062 days ago)Kind of weird where the bird meets the water. Are those additional shark fins all aroung the base? The setting sun is a bit smeary, but the water itself is quite well done.
(5 years and 3062 days ago)Love the expression on his face!
(5 years and 3062 days ago)Very dramatic improvement.
(5 years and 3062 days ago)The background is very crude looking, and even with the reflections, the stools look like they are floating. The separation line between the wall and the floor is almost in the center of your image, a compositional "no no," as it bisects the image.
(5 years and 3062 days ago)It's an original idea, but the techinical execution leaves something to be desired, and only using the source image does not warrant much.
