Although there are chairs in the photo, they do not appear to be the subject of the image. They are too dark, indistinct, and are not the focal point.

I'd suggest you straighten this image, using the right-hand side of the entrance arch as a vertical perpendicular line. The tilt detracts from the power of the sky.

The horizon waterline shows a definitely tilt down to the left. If you even out the horizon line, this will be a stronger image.

The focal point appears to be the building, more than the sky, and the white halo effect around the building further detracts from the supposed subject of the sky.

You need to adjust the horizontal, as the waterline is tilting slightly down to the left.
Otherwise, this is a truly beautiful capture.

The dark background, combined with the reflected flash detracts a bit from the overall effect, but the concept is sound, nice composition.

The accordion man has no shadows on his face which is opposite the light source, so he doesn't blend well. The standing figure in the back also shows no shadows on her face.

Some people are not able to vote or comment until the weekends. If a red flag is VALID, it should not be the commenter's problem that the Moderators did not spot the problem previously. I thought the red flags were to assist the moderators, not do their job for them. To use this as an excuse to allow "bad" entries to remain in the competition is not fair to those who DO follow contest guidelines. An incorrect entry should NOT be "given a pass" and allowed to remain simply because the author can no longer replace the entry. If an entry is not valid for a contest, it SHOULD be removed, REGARDLESS WHEN the determination is made. That is what a Moderator's job entails.

Sadly, no. The overall "fuzziness" of the photo visually impedes me from making any sort of pareidolia connotations. If I try real hard, I can almost make out a woman in a low cut bodice pantsuit with fiery wings and really big thighs, but even that is a stretch...

Eyeshadow makeup is not paint...Although you can add water to it, it still would not be paint.
