Very creative use of the source. Well done!
(5 years and 3232 days ago)The enlarged eye is too blurry. Great concept, but the purpose of magnification is to see something larger and clearer.
(5 years and 3232 days ago)The source is so minimal in this image it's almost negligible...A bit too subtle a use of the source.
(5 years and 3232 days ago)Too dark. Half of your image is so dark, it's very hard to see what is going on, or what you are trying to communicate. Particularly the RH side. The building looks like a facade, with no real back to it, the stars seem to jam right up against the lit front, with the remaining blackness on the right just "dead space."
(5 years and 3232 days ago)The figures are almost impossible to make out as a couple, the light swirl is too dominant.
Beautiful concept, just too "moody," with not enough consistent illumination for the viewer to clearly appreciate your efforts.
Interesting effect, but too much wasted space at the top of the "canvas." I would suggest cropping it down by about 1/3...
(5 years and 3233 days ago)The "cleavage center" between the breasts is still off-center. It should be matching up with the center of her clavicle above it.
(5 years and 3233 days ago)It is also quite flat looking. Since breasts are spherical and extend out from the body, you need some values of shading beneath to give the illusion of form and depth.
Congratulations, well deserved win, this is a great piece!
(5 years and 3233 days ago)The breast area is a bit skewed to her left side, but otherwise, this is quite lovely!
(5 years and 3234 days ago)Nice job!
(5 years and 3235 days ago)Your SBS has no text with the pictures... It looked like a Mirror self portrait.
(5 years and 3235 days ago)You have a GOOD camera on your cell phone!
The contents of the jars are too bright, and the one with the clear glass lid doesn't show any peanuts through the lid...
(5 years and 3235 days ago)"The idea it to make a really crappy, low quality, but still decent looking cell phone photo into something you could frame on your wall."
(5 years and 3235 days ago)Last I knew, a Canon SLR wasn't a cell phone...
Well done!
(5 years and 3235 days ago)This almost looks too good to be a cell phone photo! A bit of a halo over the shoulder on the LH side, but really good work, here!
(5 years and 3235 days ago)Great blend!
(5 years and 3235 days ago)No argument that 3d isn't easy, but that's no excuse when things are out of proportion, nor is it an excuse against having things pointed out.
(5 years and 3236 days ago)Pretty rude to say "Shut up," missy...Nice behavior from a mod. VERY encouraging to members who comment.
Nice, but too dark on the left, you can barely make out the man's head.
(5 years and 3236 days ago)The flash you used when you took the picture is too contrasting for this image, since the light source is from the sunset behind her. You might be able to offset it a bit if you very slightly darken the dancer layer.
(5 years and 3236 days ago)The edges are a bit too sharp, giving it a "cut and paste" look.
You can't "source" link from your PC, it only uses URL addresses.
Really nice work. You've managed to create something unique, yet STILL maintain the source image. Very well done!
(5 years and 3236 days ago)This is really cute, I enjoy it every time I look at it!
(5 years and 3236 days ago)If the "cigarette is fine," then your dice are are about 1 1/2" in diameter...Look at the size of the dice BEHIND the ashtray, and you will see why the cigarette is too thin. The glowing tip would fit into the pip impressions on the dice...
(5 years and 3236 days ago)WAY too dark! All you can really see are the snakes on the end.
(5 years and 3236 days ago)Beautiful concept, would have been better with more color and not a pink monochome effect.
(5 years and 3236 days ago)Cute, yet creepy! Well done on the beard.
(5 years and 3236 days ago)Too dark to really see what you are trying to communicate.
(5 years and 3236 days ago)Really nice effect, but the "light" emanating from the mouths SHOULD be casting some illumination on the ground shadows in front of the statues...Light is funny that way, it spreads.
(5 years and 3236 days ago)Excellent!
(5 years and 3236 days ago)Beautiful composition and colors, but too CBR - I can't really make out any of the original souce image.
(5 years and 3236 days ago)Great job of foreshortening, but the colors detract from the concept of "spear." It looks like a really warped landscape image of a pier with lots of foliage on one side, made into a sideways sailboat.
(5 years and 3236 days ago)If you make the spearhead look more stone or metal, I think it will help the overall cohesion of the concept.
You might want to also crop the excessive dead space at the bottom of your image. It adds nothing to your composition.
Interesting, but her necklace is off center to the rest of the image (her face and shirt).
(5 years and 3236 days ago)Anatomically, her nose is a bit too long, with the tip too close to the lips and her eyes are too almond shaped (not the eyelids, but the eyeball beneath) - That can be adjusted with a wee bit more shading on the outer edges of the eyeballs, to give them a more spherical shape within the eye sockets.
Really excellent values on the shirt, and the hair is very well done!
Too dark. The beautiful effort on the ashtray is lost with the black background, and you don't have enough light reflection on the glass in comparison to the rest of the image..
(5 years and 3236 days ago)Also the cigarette is way too thin, even as a "slim 110."
Disturbing, but very well done, technically!
(5 years and 3236 days ago)Ewwww!
Good job.
Great concept, but it's too dark to appreciate all the work you put into it. All you can really see are the eyes and nostrils and a bit of highlight on the back...
(5 years and 3236 days ago)Edit: Much better now, we can see the entire creature.
That could be a current picture, she's been gaining weight in real time, lately!
(5 years and 3237 days ago)LOL! Good piece, funny title! The drop shadow behind her hands in front of the kiwi is out of place, though. Looks like she's not holding it
(5 years and 3237 days ago)Better, although still a bit too dark to tell much of a "story." The green does a good job of helping the color contrast, which improves the overall composition. Good luck!
(5 years and 3237 days ago)Really nice work! It has a wonderful "early quiet" feel to it, and the coffee looks yummy. Well done.
(5 years and 3237 days ago)It's too dark. The viewer cannot easily make out what your focal point is, or how it relates to the title. Bring up the lighting so it's a full image, not just some light spots.
(5 years and 3238 days ago)Great concept, but there are no water reflections to give the impression of rain. It looks like chippped paint or some other solid surface, not water.
(5 years and 3238 days ago)Really good job capturing that old geeze excellent values and details on this!
(5 years and 3238 days ago)I especially like the accent pieces in the band. Very well done!
(5 years and 3238 days ago)Very nice execution. Interesting concept!
(5 years and 3238 days ago)Love it! It reminds me of the old Oscar Meyer Weinermobile!
(5 years and 3239 days ago)Nice work!
(5 years and 3239 days ago)Nice concept, but the background leaves a bit to be desired...
(5 years and 3239 days ago)Too dark, too desaturated. They look somewhat african, rather than roman...
(5 years and 3239 days ago)Very creative! Nice work.
(5 years and 3239 days ago)The right cheek and chin look "dirty," the skin tones don't match.
(5 years and 3239 days ago)Good job on matching the lighting on the heads to the bodies!
(5 years and 3239 days ago)The lighting on the face, which is full on, does not match the lighting on the baby, which is from the right...
