very powerful, good luck!
(5 years and 3125 days ago)Speaking and biting eyes? LOL Nice work!
(5 years and 3125 days ago)Not too shabby. Nice work.
(5 years and 3127 days ago)wow! this is a wonderful idea, though i always find such images very scary and creepy))) good luck!
(5 years and 3129 days ago)This is looking great. I agree that the shadow of the man needs to be darker. Overall a nice creepy image. Love the description.
(5 years and 3130 days ago)For some reason reminds me a bit of Donnie Darko . Perhaps I'd make the guy's shadow a tiny bit darker and give the suite a little bit of yellow photofilter. If you want you can give the guy a tiny blur (you can experiment easier with it if you make a smart object from the head and body) and also add a layer (with blending overlay) with some tiny grain noise, so it fits better with the quality of the background photo. Good luck!
(5 years and 3133 days ago)EDIT: good improvement imo
nice work
(5 years and 3133 days ago)gl author
Congrats!!
(5 years and 3137 days ago)Congratulations for 3rd
(5 years and 3137 days ago)Congratulations
(5 years and 3137 days ago)Congrats for your third place
(5 years and 3137 days ago)She looks like a porcelain doll - you just went too far with it, author, tho you have the right idea. The trick is to leave some pores there, and soften her skin overall. Nice lip shape, tho.
(5 years and 3137 days ago)Hope I won't met such a guy in our local wood LOL
(5 years and 3139 days ago)great idea , good luck!
(5 years and 3139 days ago)You did a great job... just need to make it a lil more realistic,,and since we could not use other skin it was hard
(5 years and 3140 days ago)U did good work author but she looks more like wax figure...try to add some skin texture here to achieve more natural look...best of luck
(5 years and 3140 days ago)Top entry author...great unique idea and very good execution...best of luck
(5 years and 3141 days ago)Great blend and good thinking.
(5 years and 3141 days ago)Awesome!!! LOL
(5 years and 3141 days ago)great job
(5 years and 3142 days ago)lol!!! super idea!!!!
(5 years and 3142 days ago)very nice blending,....good idea,....!
(5 years and 3142 days ago)Nice blending, GL
(5 years and 3142 days ago)what about trying to take a small portion of one of the less wrinkled parts of her face (maybe nose) and use that as a pattern for some texture in her face? Or just painstakingly put millions of tiny dots on her face for pores. lol
(5 years and 3143 days ago)Its a very good effort, however there would be more shaping shadows in the face as well as the texture of the skin.
(5 years and 3144 days ago)Shadows to define the mouth - for instance:- the curve below the bottom lip and dimples under the nose that shape the top lip. As one ages the muscles soften and drop the fine edges of a structure and if there are false teeth they push the top lip out and straighten it. The Older face actually has higher cheek bones than you have given credit for and there would be deeper hollows over and a slight shadow under the eyes . Cartilage grows all of ones life so the nose may well have been shorter and slightly turned up at the end.
Good work. I will come back and vote later.
Yes I agree! And for some reason I would like someone to change clothes and/or generation look of the picture, but this one is right on theme!
(5 years and 3144 days ago)Edit: I would love to see a: 70's, 80's, and then like 2011 look? Maybe even a photoAlbum theme!?
I would put some texture/pores into her skin.
(5 years and 3144 days ago)Looks good, especially the bubbles. I'm gonna try out that technique!
(5 years and 3186 days ago)I like this entry a lot author...nice imagination. I have one small suggestion that might make a big difference. Perhaps try and lighten the right side of each 'city' and slightly darken the left. This will further help validate that bright light source on the right that creates a highlight on each sphere.
(5 years and 3187 days ago)Very cool...love the idea that both of them are smiling...gl
(5 years and 3191 days ago)That baby is just ADORABLE! The woman's cheeks look nice. I just don't like her teeth and eyes. But the baby gets high marks from me!
(5 years and 3191 days ago)Adorable!!
(5 years and 3192 days ago)Very sweet!
(5 years and 3194 days ago)Red tomato face looks flat, since this isnt a very original concept there are lots of tutorials to show you how it should be done, hope this helps.
(5 years and 3194 days ago)http://jengrantmorris.blogspot.com/2007/10/fruit-faces-tutorial.html
Good luck
I see you've changed her face. I like this one much better! She relates much better to the baby. Cute idea nicely done! (Just one tiny nit pick, there's some edges showing on the right and lower right side.)
(5 years and 3195 days ago)The light intensity on the plant and kid face is different. You should add some highlights on the baby's cheek and nose (with some bright green or pale yellow) to get rid of this. good luck
(5 years and 3195 days ago)The dimensionality of the baby head really works, but the "mom head" needs to have the same quality...right now she looks like an inflated balloon. Suggestion would be to do some dodge/burn on her, or shading & highlights on adjustment layers. GL author.
(5 years and 3195 days ago)Must have been one of those shadowless days, the sign (which is too sharp for the image) seems to have a roaming R which is managing to hang over the lip of the frame despite the sign being obviously set back in the frame. GL though
(5 years and 3195 days ago)Been there, Done that! Great job!
(5 years and 3198 days ago)Your main problem IMO is that the frame is all one color, the main surfer has an orange sunset glow on his back so that same light will cast a slight burned shadow at the back of the sign (on the sand) and an orange to black gradient overlay at very low opacity on the sign will give it more realism. Hope that helps.
(5 years and 3198 days ago)Interesting that so many members chose to whine about the source and not the final image. Everyone would have praised this piece if they hadn't known what the source was. Hypocrites.
(5 years and 3198 days ago)Im loving those rabbits
(5 years and 3199 days ago)You can try duplicating the sign author and just distorting it so it look 3d... wish I could help, but its not something ive done yet. Otherwise try adding some noise and a bit of an off white colour to the poles... Better yet the chances of it having some rust on it from being close to salt water
(5 years and 3199 days ago)Other than that, its funny
GL!
(5 years and 3199 days ago)Sorry this didn't get a higher place, i definately voted it to win
(5 years and 3199 days ago)hmmmm...maybe instead of white frame u could use some a bit rusty metal texture and create frame with that....if u do that u have to create shadow in frame too...also would be cool to create some detaching parts on the surfer poster to achieve casual look...this is just and idea author...GL
(5 years and 3199 days ago)Fantastic idea author...super cool thinking...IMHO u should work a bit more on a sign to give more realism there...everything else is well made...best of luck
(5 years and 3199 days ago)Bummers can be funny. I like the idea. The sign does not look right, no dimension to it.
(5 years and 3200 days ago)It will be always nice to see your work... do not be disappointed I learned a lot from your entry.... Thanks.
(5 years and 3200 days ago)Congratulations in advance this is great art. You are a winner.
