For realism I would definatly think about the fact that this is all happening in water, the water would have a cone of distortion from begining to end of the fish`s movement also I dont think the line would be so straight, fish use their tails in a side to side motion and although at speed seem to move straight its not really the case.

Try duplicating the fish a number of times and motion blur each one a little then change the transperancy. You could also change it's size and/or shape a tiny bit ... does that help?

I'd lose the ball image at the pitcher's end, but good idea.

the mans arm would also be blurring as it would still be moving while the ball is travelling... also would the ball really be so perfectly round?

The sky is nice, horizon should be less abrupt though.

I like the stars on his hands, the concept is very nice. But I agree with arca about the smaller stars; maybe if they were more "sparkling", with a glow...

Love the concept and the way you have blended the shading his face and hands ...also very clean cut.

I am not sure about the Planet/stars inside the body outline. IMO they are not quite "starrish" enough. They look a little more like water bubbles or balls to me... great idea though!

Ok ok. I admit that the background is nicely done. But you have kind of spoilt it will all your effects. I think something like Step 10 in your SBS might look better. But as you said, that's just in my opinion.
