A bit over exposed and grainy but, clever.

Nice idea poorly executed. The problems here are multiple.
First and most importantly, the tilt of the horizon is very distracting. The subject in a photo please the viewers eye and being level is job one.
Secondly is the poor lighting forcing the use of a on-board flash. This has created an unpleasant glare in your central subject while under-exposing the cup.
There are other factors but to be competitive in these competitions, you must exercise basic rules of good photography. Hope this critique helps with future entries, These comments are meant to encourage improvements and heighten skills.

I really like this shot.. a great portrait of a beautiful Cocker. However, it seems a bit off theme to me as, except for the background colors, its not a "Christmas Scene" Its a fine portrait of a dog with a red/green backdrop.
I think a Santa Hat on the head would have made it eligible.

Sorry Author. For me this work just doesn't work at all for competition.
The focus is off due to the poor lighting and lacks any compositional quality. (ie: Bad Snapshot).
I don't mean to be hyper-critical but this is sub-par compared to your other works.

Nice find, although, Im disappointed in the sharpness of the focus and excessive grain in the overall composition. Closer attention to those details would probably garner better scoring for this work IMHO.

A magnificent view but I find the interior structure really distracting and spoiling any effective composition. I can see no way of cropping to retain entire beauty of this shot. Thus, it is what it is.

Looks like a great location but the image is terribly out of focus.

This is a wonderful setting that would benefit greatly from some post production corrections.
The major error here is the white blowout of the water creating a hazy glare that affects the sharpness of the whole image.
Some photo editing tools are readily available online and can be downloaded for free. Google's PICASA3 for example. These tools can help improve a photos appeal drastically and are fun and easy to use.
