Sorry author, but I have to agree, just because an image CAN be entered, does not mean it SHOULD be entered...save the "snaps" for flikr or myspace and try your hand at entering some great images for competition...look through the old contests to see what has placed in the top 7 and take that as a good idea to what you should enter author...

I agree with Friiskiwi...........if the image is that bad, don't enter it......!!.... Part of the idea of these contests is to enter a shot that that has been well executed, and stands a chance of making a place in the winners list.......shots like this will never do that, so why enter them..........sorry to be harsh, but it is fact!!

I like the idea author, but the execution could have been better. The shot is a little blurry, even with th effect you are trying to achieve.....imo..also, the image is, or appears to be very small, and there is no hi res.

I like the clouds in the sky. They add a lot of drama to the photo. And I really like the perspective.

I don't think this shows the unique qualities of the source image. It could have been made from most any image. The idea is good maybe bring back the color from the source or some part of the source incorporated with the sub. It is a dramatic angle which I like. I can't remember a submarine with portholes either, at least no military subs so I assume this is your own design which is fine.

Wow looks fantastic. Super idea, well done. I think you should blue the sky a little more to amtch the drawing/pant style of the submarine.

I was on a submarine last weekend. I didn't see any portholes. I guess they don't make them that way anymore. The balast tanks get in the way now. I'll hold off on voting if you want to clean it up a little cmyk46 suggested.

Good idea, but messy...try to clean up the edges.
