That's such a sad and touching story. Were they strays? There used to be a little dog living on the side of a country road. She stayed living there for many years fed by locals who gave her a kennel and kept an eye on her. People tried to catch her but she wouldn't let anyone too close. One day a man who lived across the road found her dead but of old age not run over thankfully. They built a bronze statue in her memory which has been placed where she used to sit watching the traffic go by and the cows in the paddocks. She was such a well known character her death made national news.

This is REALLY cool. The only thing I would nic pick would be the background. It takes away from the real looking chop.

Funny one. The pawns in front seem to float a bit, maybe because the chess board has a bit different perspective. What if you just use the original wooden floor (incl the reflection from the original pieces) for your entry, then the floating might be fixed. Good luck!
