Yes, you will be forever shamed. haha. Not an issue at all NuclearGumbo. people use previous sources in their Chops all the time. I kinda like it cause it brings back memories.
(5 years and 690 days ago)We used that eye in this Photoshop contest http://www.pxleyes.com/photoshop-contest/22441/single-eye.html
(5 years and 690 days ago)Thanks for making me dizzy!
(5 years and 690 days ago)Great job of the whales jumping out of the sand. You did excellent work on the dust clouds and sand being thrown around.
(5 years and 861 days ago)Such an awesome source face you found. fits nice.
(5 years and 894 days ago)EEEEEEEKKKKK!!! Great job!!
(5 years and 896 days ago)Oh lordy.. it's a gay campfire... giggle snort
(5 years and 927 days ago)I finally see the letter... nice job on the smoke...
(5 years and 1236 days ago)You really can't see the Letter very well.. not a big thing, but because of the contest you might want to increase the definition. It's really well done.. but it took me forever to figure out the letter. (I know it has a title, but I didn't look at that right away..hehe) Good job and good luck.
(5 years and 1236 days ago)YIKES! and very cool!!
(5 years and 1287 days ago)Congratulations...
(5 years and 1303 days ago)Congrats!!
(5 years and 1304 days ago)I like the idea of caterpillar > butterfly shadow but I would have put the shadow over the moon since that is the focal point in your image (kind of a Batman silhouette). It took me some time to find the tiny shadow on the tree.
(5 years and 1318 days ago)I think the shadow would be more noticeable, if you use another pic of the moon where the clouds were not so dark. Your image is nice, but work on the shadow.
(5 years and 1328 days ago)I love the idea and his shadow/wish is actually an attainable goal for him, so that's a nice 'looking to the future' concept. Maybe make it daytime or sunrise/sunset so the shadow is more noticeable.
(5 years and 1329 days ago)It's a bit hard to see the butterfly shadow... not sure how you could bring more attention to it (if I didn't know it was a shadow contest I probably would have missed it).
(5 years and 1329 days ago)Not sure which direction you could take to improve the image to give the shadow a little more punch. But that's just me. It's a very enchanting image in it's own right
Good luck.
Congratulations for your fourth place...
(5 years and 1331 days ago)Congrats!!
(5 years and 1352 days ago)Congrats
(5 years and 1352 days ago)Congratulations...
(5 years and 1352 days ago)hehehe.. the drinker behind the tree is priceless
(5 years and 1355 days ago)Good idea... good luck..
(5 years and 1355 days ago)Source 4 isn't actually owned by the Deviant Art author, it's even stated in his description that he takes images from the net. The actual original can be found here: http://walkingwithdinos.wikia.com/wiki/Gorgosaurus .
(5 years and 1424 days ago)It's a 3D render from "Walking With Dinosaurs" and since Photoshop Rules don't allow use of illustrations or 3D renders you'll have to replace it with a safe source.
5.6. 3D Renders or Illustrations as Source:
Using other people's 3D renders or illustrations (even with permission and no matter in which form they are offered) creates a false impression of your artwork. So 3D renders or illustrations can not be used as sources, unless they are entirely created by yourself. Only acceptable non-illustration brushes and clip art may be used, but you need to mention them as a source too. Don't use an image that has been altered by the source owner nor an entire work created by someone else.
You'll find some good dinosaurs on flickr like this one: https://www.flickr.com/photos/scottkinmartin/457428714
Use this link for more choices: https://www.flickr.com/search/?advanced=1&license=1%2C2%2C9%2C10&text=dinosaurs
I hope this helps.
the crow is fantastic..maybe a trailing smoke from the skull maybe better?
(5 years and 1432 days ago)You are right sorry.....
(5 years and 1434 days ago)You can find the images you need to redo this nice work, still a lot of time....
(5 years and 1434 days ago)As my roommate in college would say... What you smoke? (J/K) Classic great job.
(5 years and 1438 days ago)Author, plenty of time to find a substitute raven & resubmit. When searching DA for images, use this link to stock photos: http://www.deviantart.com/browse/all/resources/stockart/
(5 years and 1438 days ago)(And make sure to choose only photos, there are renders in that section too).
Nice work, especially on the raven. I notice some pixelation on the smoky effect on the raven...a tiny bit of blur should take care of that. GL author. (PS: You should title your entries)
(5 years and 1439 days ago)Great job
(5 years and 1440 days ago)Like the fact that you change the position of the bullets down the line, good luck
(5 years and 1448 days ago)great idea
(5 years and 1450 days ago)Good work. I see a depth issue...I think if you removed the flames that overlap the body of the wagon, it would look more like the burning door was in front of it and increase the feeling of depth. Effective image, though.
(5 years and 1458 days ago)ACK... all my Catechism classes just came back to me in a rush (and the horrible "What is Hell?" Film they made us watch.) EEEEEEKKKKKKK!
(5 years and 1460 days ago)The cart reminds me of the Cauldron Born from "The Book of Three" (Disney's Black Cauldron handling the Real/Surreal animation)
Great job handling the surreal lighting and making the flame not look like cloning. The floor does look hot! Neat CHOP!
