amazing colour
(5 years and 3108 days ago)Its a very good effort, however there would be more shaping shadows in the face as well as the texture of the skin.
(5 years and 3114 days ago)Shadows to define the mouth - for instance:- the curve below the bottom lip and dimples under the nose that shape the top lip. As one ages the muscles soften and drop the fine edges of a structure and if there are false teeth they push the top lip out and straighten it. The Older face actually has higher cheek bones than you have given credit for and there would be deeper hollows over and a slight shadow under the eyes . Cartilage grows all of ones life so the nose may well have been shorter and slightly turned up at the end.
Good work. I will come back and vote later.
There are an awful lot of people who don't think laterally on this site which is odd. I like what you have done monochrome or not
(5 years and 3134 days ago)Sorry I came straight into this comp off the first page and thought it was photoshop - but I still think the reflections could have been better specialy after the one "Reflection.."

(5 years and 3212 days ago)Hi - at hi res you can see that there is still 1/background to be cut away between the rif=ders plat and her neck 2/ at the back of the sadle there is still background. 3/ There is too much blurring & softness around the figure. if you are using Photoshop you need to adjust the selection >MENU>Select>refine edges.
(5 years and 3311 days ago)Good luck its a nice composition.

(5 years and 3352 days ago)HI AUTHOR - sorry Im slow - if you look below the butter dish there is a patch of shadow as if the light is shinning from the top - the shadow AROUND the cat and the box and to the right of the table looks as if the items were merely a flat cut out with the light shining from the left side. You can see the shadow of the butter dish clearest below and slightly to the left of the dish itself - what you mostly see under the dish is a reflection.
(5 years and 3352 days ago)applied shadows conflict with the original photograph - otherwise a nice effort.
(5 years and 3354 days ago)ssssssshhhhh shadow is truncated -
(5 years and 3711 days ago)Excellent - this is one I'd like to keep as a reminder of stuff that really makes me excited - well done.
(5 years and 3730 days ago)You will struggle for good results if you use a low resolution image - and make sure that the image you are using is upgraded to 300dpi
(5 years and 3739 days ago)took me a while to work out the relationship I think the cut out was pretty cool too>
