The base plate of this is too small, and doesn't show any form of mounting. It looks like the gun should fall over.

I think fantasy and imagination should be a primary element of all these contests. Piercing the snow seems extremely suggestive for me.
Yet I wonder if a bit more contrast would not make the shot more shiny.
