I love the texture and the panels on the door. Great work. I agree that the lighting is a bit weird, it almost looks as if the mat is glowing, but all-in-all it's not too bad imo.
(5 years and 2949 days ago)The heavy shading on the sides, with the center lighter makes the "Welcome" hard to read, and is somewhat contrary to the fact that generally, mats are dirtier in the center from foot traffic. Your light source is not clearly defined, as it looks like it is coming from the lower left, when logic would dictate it should be from the upper right, as a porch light.
(5 years and 2951 days ago)The "dirt" is too light, and looks like dandruff.
The textures are beautiful, and the rendering itself is quite good. It is just a few visual inconsistencies that are impeding you.
nice work
(5 years and 2959 days ago)excellent, good luck
(5 years and 2960 days ago)very artistic, love it, good luck

(5 years and 2964 days ago)Honestly I just liked the hair of the brush .... other materials are rather weak(If I can say so)
(5 years and 2966 days ago)But the overall work is good ... GL Author
BTW: nice refraction
This is so cool.. I love it..
(5 years and 2966 days ago)now I wish if I could've entered this contest..

(5 years and 2967 days ago)wow amazing shot
(5 years and 2967 days ago)wonderful abstract
(5 years and 2967 days ago)nice entry.... which software have u used?
(5 years and 2968 days ago)I admire your perseverance, it paid off.
(5 years and 2968 days ago)Great idea, but your subject (the brush) is lost with all the surroundings and is too small. The glass looks more to be your focal point. Perhaps zoom in more and crop all the surrounding excess...
(5 years and 2969 days ago)Maybe a little too much HDR - it has created a halo around the object that are adjacent to the blue in the sky
(5 years and 2969 days ago)very nice, like like like
(5 years and 2971 days ago)Best picture ever! oh well, almost the best picture ever! Congratulations, great shot, good luck!

(5 years and 2973 days ago)Congratulations
(5 years and 2973 days ago)How many bulbs did you have to break before not breaking the filament?

(5 years and 2974 days ago)oooo.. is it a japanese mask ?
(5 years and 2974 days ago)strange and beautiful mask !
(5 years and 2974 days ago)nice mask...
(5 years and 2974 days ago)I'm not sure what you mean by 'using the foreground as the horizon' but the horizon is definately not level
(5 years and 2974 days ago)amazing
(5 years and 2974 days ago)Great timing!
(5 years and 2974 days ago)great job done here.
(5 years and 2976 days ago)Wonderful picture, author. Now how about Rosslyn Chapel, or is it too far away from where you live? Kidding of-course.
(5 years and 2976 days ago)A beautiful photograph.
(5 years and 2976 days ago)Beautiful, well done.
(5 years and 2976 days ago)and please straighten the horizon.
(5 years and 2976 days ago)well done, did you write it like that, or flip the image?
(5 years and 2976 days ago)the head dress needs a soft drop shadow to blend better IMHO (it looks a bit pasted), but the idea is quite good.. good luck author.. (the finished image could use a filter over the finished images to make the textures blend)... nice job
(5 years and 2976 days ago)Wonderful effort. The only nit-pik is the leaning of the trees on both sides due to barrel distortion. You can adjust it by skewing out the corners a wee bit (Ctrl + F, hold Ctrl. key as you drag a top corner out horizontally, then repeat with the bottom corner to create a "negative" barrel distortion. Work at a higher magnification to see where the trees start to bend.
(5 years and 2977 days ago)It's a bit too dark at the bottom to appreciate the effect. If you can adjust the contrast to bring the foreground tones up a bit, it would really help this photo.
(5 years and 2977 days ago)cute. Maybe re-create the movie scene? But this is nice too
(5 years and 2977 days ago)Wow, very nice cane, good luck!
(5 years and 2978 days ago)Nice concept, good luck!
(5 years and 2978 days ago)very nice, I think I would have cropped it, to cut out the stand.
(5 years and 2978 days ago)scary, nice shot
(5 years and 2978 days ago)check the goal, The idea is a SINGLE rooftop....
(5 years and 2978 days ago)great effort ....... high marks
(5 years and 2979 days ago)fantastic caustics
are they new ??? cause I didn't notice them yesterday .......
Looks fantastic, love the vibrant colors.
(5 years and 2979 days ago)Wow ... love the diamond. Sparkly and superbly done. Love to get on of this Well done
(5 years and 2979 days ago)Very well done model - artistic and realistic. Probably by including the usability as well, such as handle to hold the walking stick above the dragon head without diminishing the overall artistic value of it might be able to mass produce it in the future
