superb!!
(5 years and 2980 days ago)great shot of a wonderful carving. What is the history of the carving.
(5 years and 2981 days ago)don't worry, they probably wouldn't have let you use the tripod, even if you had one with you.
(5 years and 2981 days ago)good..nice work...
(5 years and 2981 days ago)Lovely image, well done!
(5 years and 2981 days ago)Nice tie dye effect. I hope the asymmetry is considered on theme. GL author.
(5 years and 2981 days ago)Nice one
(5 years and 2981 days ago)What an amazing door, shame we loose detail and light at the bottom.
(5 years and 2982 days ago)Pretty cool, author. Nice details, just enough.
(5 years and 2982 days ago)What a wonderful job you've done with the faceted stone on the end! The odd grayish streaks inside of it are a bit visually confusing and artificial, but the overall creation of this piece is very realistic looking.
(5 years and 2982 days ago)I love the gloss on the top of the head in the detail photo! The tongue looks a bit odd with the vertical alignment and the shape of it (a single tongue with a forked end would look more "natural" ), but this is a truly unique construction. Nice work!
(5 years and 2982 days ago)Looks pretty cool, more like a scepter though. I guess that will work too.
(5 years and 2984 days ago)Great concept, but the cane looks like it is behind the stone, rather than coming out from the top of it.
(5 years and 2984 days ago)The "fog" is a bit too heavy for the image, and is distracting, making the columns more dominant that your focal point, the cane.
The rounded baseboard where the wall meets the floor is a bit too large and prominent, even with the heavy fog...
The texture of the columns is beautiful, and the video SBS is very well done, except for the end, which shows too much menu, and not enough of the image you've made.
Overall, this is a good render, it just needs a bit of tweaking to be outstanding.
They only look mean... really you can walk right up to them and pet them and walk them and feed them.
(5 years and 2985 days ago)Wonderful place, I would have loved to have some sunshine when we were there.
(5 years and 2985 days ago)Nice Congrats
(5 years and 2985 days ago)Hey they;re not all that mean after all. Watch this for a change http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2010/09/29/man-and-crocodile-chito-a_n_742427.html. Well captured, author.
(5 years and 2986 days ago)great shot. where did you find this beauty?
(5 years and 2986 days ago)you said it all kyricom.
(5 years and 2986 days ago)Those look like some big boys...I wonder who's job it was to put that Christmas wreath there. "Hey Sam... You've been coming in late a lot lately. Take this wreath out there!"
(5 years and 2986 days ago)Nice one!
(5 years and 2994 days ago)Well done!
(5 years and 2994 days ago)Congrats
(5 years and 2995 days ago)Nice Job Congrats
(5 years and 2995 days ago)Lovely words you added to a lovely work, best of luck author!
(5 years and 2996 days ago)Lol - love it!
(5 years and 2997 days ago)Great job, love the textures used and the camera angle. How long did that take to render? GL
(5 years and 2998 days ago)Very interesting "cover" of the building. The smoke seems a bit too thick and solid, but otherwise a good render.
(5 years and 2998 days ago)wow that's so cool. i really can feel the swirl wehen i look in
(5 years and 2999 days ago)Simple, yet effective.
(5 years and 2999 days ago)Beautiful work of Art author! Well done and best of luck!
(5 years and 3002 days ago)Oh man!!! This is not so good! I hope you are feeling better now!
(5 years and 3002 days ago)Yeuch...looks really sore!
(5 years and 3004 days ago)HEY IT'S THE POD FROM STARWARS!!! Great work
(5 years and 3004 days ago)It hurts just looking at it.
(5 years and 3006 days ago)Wow... I've heard of folks with thumb sucking problems... but THIS is really extreme!
(5 years and 3006 days ago)OUCH!!! I know someone that got that same thing by boiling schroom in oil and it was burning and he tried to take it outside and tripped over the exercise trampoline! It looked just like this! NEVER drop hot stuff on your hand... or any skin! LOL
(5 years and 3006 days ago)That's one you'll want to photograph regularly as it heals...You have my deepest sympathies over that!
(5 years and 3007 days ago)Awesome shot!
(5 years and 3033 days ago)The moon reflection doesn't seem so real to me, the rest looks great. I like the highlights on the flag, good luck!
(5 years and 3055 days ago)My favorite!
(5 years and 3058 days ago)I agree with everything friiskiwi said.....nice!
(5 years and 3058 days ago)The too-bright lights on the flag are very distracting and inconsistent with the rest of the image.
(5 years and 3059 days ago)You additionally have the flag lit too strongly from the top, while the rest of your scene is being lit with a far softer light source from the RH side...The spyglass is placed within a shadow, and should not be showing any real highlights at all...
But they are so yummy! Great shot!
(5 years and 3060 days ago)I really like this one, nice framing and DOF
(5 years and 3060 days ago)Fluffy go By By very neat!
(5 years and 3060 days ago)nice blur, increase the distance perception, GL!
(5 years and 3060 days ago)it's a very good idea ... but I guess you didn't look to the original picture first ...
(5 years and 3061 days ago)but the over all design is good
Good Luck
It would have looked better if the doorways were open or had handles. This way just looks like the staircases all run up to solid walls...
(5 years and 3061 days ago)I think your texture scaling combined with the odd shape may be why it looks so fake... I have an entire fireplace wall done with that type of brick, so I am familiar with the texture.
(5 years and 3061 days ago)It's called "rake brick" because of the texture pattern.
Here are a couple of photoa of how the real thing looks:
