Very nice clean shot

It is rare to only see one seed, but unfortunately because the seed is in the watermelon it is impossible to get a clean shot.

I would suggest staging the shot a bit, taking a seed and placing it on a seedless slice of melon. This way you can get a sharp shot of the seed and the shot will be a lot better. If you havent eaten all your props yet, give it a go

This is a very good example of the theme. Very well blended, I had to look at the source pic to make sure this wasn't just a photo of a short mouse!

Great image, I just don't think you're allowed to use the alien as it is a premanipulated picture.

I like the uniqueness of this shot. Probably agree with Josh about the focal point but I'm sure you tried that and thought this one looked better. Nice work.

You could say that the focal point of the image is the key and this is made up almost enitrely of square tiles, so its right on theme!
It's a nice shot, lets not nitpick about whether one side is 2mm longer than the others.

There are a few things in this that could be improved, just take some more time - you have a whole week to submit!
Try looking at the barrel as Erikuri said, the way the beams meet the walls, the shadow and masking on the gorilla. I'd probably do some cloning/healing on the road so it wasn't completely symetrical too. Good luck

you need to remain anonymous in the contests, if someone votes on one entry to see who the author is and this may effect their objectivity when voting on the 2nd entry. At least that's where I assume the issue to be.
For what it's worth, if you have to chose an entry, I'd go with this one.

Shadow would be nice, but still a good image, I like the position of the legs

I relly like this one, its original and well executed. I actually like the baloons as part of the composition.

Nice image, the only things I would suggest changing are the butterflies (it is too obvious you have cut and paste each one three times, use more different images). I would also remove the blurry train from below the cat and the wings, adding a slight motion blur or manually blurring the ends of the image would make it look more realistic imo.

Just a couple of questoins for you: why does a boat have a reflection if its in the sky? and what is the line across the image? There are also wrongly alligned reflections of clouds, which makes it look like its submerged in water, only the water is completely transparent.

This has some nice element but they just dont fit as one image yet.

Yes it does look very 'cut and paste'. Have a go at putting in some depth/shadows and I'll hold my vote for now.

Without wanting to turn this into a crucifiction, Glamourgirl you have 1000VP, you need to pay some closer attention to the shots if you are going to vote for them - we don't want someone to get 10 low votes in a contest because you didn't see the rain!

Having said that, I think the shot is pretty good, but the background such as the mail box is in better focus than the subject. A good panning shot would have been nice here to create a haze of the rain, but this is still nice and a good 'on the run' capture.

This is well put together but if I'm going to pick on it, I'd say the material at the front of the shoe doesn't match the back too well, and this also looks very similar to an entry in the last funny shoes contest so I'm docking you a point for originality :P

Very good job, and one of the few on theme! A decent SBS would be nice though...

The basic structure is good, and the use of the bamboo poles, but the panels and rotors look completely unrealistic - just like cut outs. Try laying a bunch of bamboo together (like a bamboo screen look) for the panels, that would help. Oh and dont forget to spherise/warp them a bit to get some contour aroung the shape of the chopper. I'll hold my vote and see what you come up with

I see the stairs, and I like the symmetry of the shot, but the sculpture is clearly the focus of this shot

Haha, that wasn't in Adelaide by any chance? That company is just around the corner from where I work. They are very proular with backpackers, and are all painted with something funny/amusing. Unfortunately they are also under investigation for having unroadworthy vehicles...
