yeah I like this version, makes the screen much more visible. Glad you had an extra few shots to choose from!

I like the idea, but I think it would be more effective (and on theme) if you placed the focus on the screen door and had the objects inside as OOF. Just my opinion though.

I think you've done a great job on the caterpillar, but the eyes really let this down for me, they just don't match the rest of the image imo. I'd also add more legs. Overall a nice job though.

Tough one given that this is surrealism, but this looks a bit more like placement of random images than a really surreal image (just imho). The colours all blend well and I love the watermelon , just fix the shadows

I have to disagree here erathion, if you look at the strong shadowing on the sign/tombstone, there should be a shadow behind it. The trick will be to match the light and shadow on the rest of the background image so it doesnt look 'pasted on'

A little more shading to the bottom of the doorway (like you've done at the top) and shadow on the lizard would certainly help - looks a bit flat there now. Nice job

I'd lose the text, and make the tongue blend in to become the knife, not just sit over the handle. I'd probably have chosen a meaner looking pic for the 'tongue' person too but thats minor. Overall nice job, especially with splitting the boy's head
