Not really a tongue twister, but not a bad job (except the the mismatched lighting)
(5 years and 3608 days ago)Not the best of results, but really good to see youre taking some of the suggestions on board and playing around with things - the top 3's will come (hopefully for me too at some point
(5 years and 3608 days ago)more of a limerick than a tongue twister I'd have thought - but I'm not judging you on that at all . Not a bad job but the guy looks a little to calm considering he has a monster on his line and is about to be pulled in...
(5 years and 3608 days ago)It'll always be hard to get the perspective right as the tat was not drawn to scale or with a perfect perspective. I think youve done a very good job getting it as close as you have (and nice job cutting it away from the overly cluttered image you had in before). Great work.
(5 years and 3609 days ago)That's what I was picturing Loopyluv, the pic of the guy smiling in the hospital bed is a good start - just find 9 different nurses (or a couple of different and manipulate them a bit yourself), and put them around him. Even a pic of a guy drooling would be appropriate
(5 years and 3610 days ago)If you tried and it didnt look like you wanted - then I applaud you for leaving it out. The image is still lovely, and it would be a shame to darken out such a cute little face anyway! I hope you don';t take any offence to my suggetions, just trying so share my perspective. Good luck in this contest - you clearly have one of the best chops here. Cheers
(5 years and 3610 days ago)nice effect and choice of scenery too
(5 years and 3610 days ago)If you can, move the bug 'closer' to the vials so he can remain in focus. Nice masking work though
(5 years and 3610 days ago)Not bad, but if the sheet was slit, the background colour would shine through, not a black-white gradient
(5 years and 3610 days ago)yup, really need to fix those shadows
(5 years and 3610 days ago)Obviously a beginners job, a couple of quick comments. Play around with the different masking tools, particularly the pen tool, and have a go with dodge/burn to get some depth in the cloth - add creases, shadows and highlights. Have a play and look at some online tutorials - but keep practising and having fun!
(5 years and 3611 days ago)Good job, perhaps if you give the man a subtle blue overlay so he better matches the lighting in the room it will help him blend in better (oh and darken the foot a little too). But a really nice job!
(5 years and 3612 days ago)... because the front of her dress and part of her arm are dark, at least the right side (or left as we see it) of her face would be a little darker. I am happy for ther to be another light source, as long as it is consistant. I guess you dont have to follow the rules of convention if you have multiple flying stars though .
(5 years and 3613 days ago)The dog just looks a bit too 'pasted on', some shadowing might help
(5 years and 3613 days ago)This is truly gross! Nice
(5 years and 3613 days ago)This is a simple but powerful photograph, I think it fits the theme perfectly, I challenge anyone not to feel upset in someway by what happened on that platform!
(5 years and 3613 days ago)Very nice, I like that you kept the ascending path in the shot.
(5 years and 3613 days ago)This just gave me a shiver. I am so very sorry for your loss and thankyou for the sacrifices made by you and your family. A wonderful pic and would be a deserving winner
(5 years and 3613 days ago)B7w was a good choice, nice capture - emotive
(5 years and 3613 days ago)A very sad sight indeed, the barron surroundings add nicely to the effect too.
(5 years and 3613 days ago)Just beautiful, great technique and a wonderful model
(5 years and 3613 days ago)Beautiful eyes but not the best capture i've seen
(5 years and 3613 days ago)I agree with Josh, what is it that makes them benevolent?
(5 years and 3613 days ago)Very nice capture!
(5 years and 3613 days ago)Sorry but this is a pretty poor job, the cutting out was clearly done quickly and there is little overall asthetic appeal imho. There was a lot more potential in this tongue twister.
(5 years and 3613 days ago)Plenty of tutorials on this, and something you'll have to learn if you want to continue in photoshop! Good luck...
(5 years and 3613 days ago)I would probably darken her arm and face just a little as the light source is behind her, but overall a nice chop.
(5 years and 3613 days ago)I just noticed the shadow is off too, it keeps the same shape as the shoe, it doesnt taper off, and doesnt meet the base of the shoe or heel properly. Did you just make a copy, and slide it to the right? If so, try using the perspective tool.
(5 years and 3613 days ago)I love a good steak!!! You made me hungry! On a more serious note I do see them as more than meat though, I love milk and they can also be a source of amusement when tipped over
(5 years and 3614 days ago)The funny thing is that this shoe has really existed! Gotta love the 60's
(5 years and 3614 days ago)I like the idea but the chop isnt great, if you want to use a staircase you really should take the time to cut out between the railings, otherwise it's always just going to look pasted on
(5 years and 3614 days ago)Sorry but this is a pretty poor chop, try using good (high res) pictures and taking some time to accurately cut them out next time. Keep trying!
(5 years and 3614 days ago)The foot is pretty well done but the background is warped quite a bit
(5 years and 3614 days ago)Judging by the look on his face, the dog might have bad breath
(5 years and 3616 days ago)This is a wonderful drawing. Really well done!
(5 years and 3616 days ago)That is one unattractive little creature!
(5 years and 3616 days ago)nice capture, now that is a slow animal!
(5 years and 3616 days ago)I love the cartoony feel of it. Well done!
(5 years and 3616 days ago)my only nitpick would be that the highlights would be more to the middle of the sofa, but that is minor - I really like the textures. GL
(5 years and 3616 days ago)i see where youre going with this but the eyes dont look like the kid is smiling, if you could cut another image in there it would help. Also you need to change the colours on the scarf, have a play with blending modes til you get one that looks right.
(5 years and 3616 days ago)that reflection looks good now, candycane in the mug doesnt quite look realistic though, maybe if you fade it away at the bottom a bit??
(5 years and 3616 days ago)nice chop, very unique use of the source
(5 years and 3616 days ago)very simple clean chop. Very nice
(5 years and 3616 days ago)You are right Driven, they used to put sugar in, I guess when your teeth rot you think you need to buy more toothpaste to fix the problem Nice chop too, nice smudging
(5 years and 3616 days ago)Nice effect, but just a bit too simple
(5 years and 3616 days ago)Sorry but i dont really see the point of the candy cane in this image, it just seems stuck on...
(5 years and 3616 days ago)The hair is not bad, if you left the rest of the girl as a statue or coloured her in to look like a real girl that would be much more effective imo
(5 years and 3616 days ago)I'm afraid I dont get it either Bob. Other than the title I'm not seeing any similarities. Are you saying he's on acid?
(5 years and 3617 days ago)Nice, i'd add some hair to the arm and change the hair colour (or at least give him some dark roots) to make it more realistic though.
(5 years and 3617 days ago)i agree with CMYK, id find a different pic for the homeless people, this is clearly the same one as from an earlier entry. I'd just bring the other man into focus and focus the image on him more... nice message!
