Well done, You really brought the colours out well and made a very nica image. I agree that the sign looks a little tacked on but otherwise great!
(5 years and 3618 days ago)That is a really well chopped image. Top job!
(5 years and 3619 days ago)What CMYK means id that the chain is too bright for the image, also there is some stark light/dark on the chain, whick doesnt match the other pic. A couple of other things i'd add, the chain would fall straight down, not at an angle, and a very feint shadow would stop the 'floating' look
(5 years and 3620 days ago)Obviously a lot of effort, and a great result acheived. One of the best. gl
(5 years and 3621 days ago)Very nice job
(5 years and 3623 days ago)Great moody lighting, and very well on theme
(5 years and 3624 days ago)Nice take on the theme
(5 years and 3624 days ago)Maybe if you put a fire flame on the other candle??
(5 years and 3624 days ago)Not a bad job, I'd turn the water around though - your yin should be curled in toward your yang
(5 years and 3624 days ago)I like this one, well done on the effect of the hand coming out of the ground. The background with the trees doesnt fit imo though, given how dry and baron the foreground is.
(5 years and 3624 days ago)Not normally a fan of the 'let's chop any object into a flower' teqhnique, but here you have used the sourse pic really well, I can tell that you have used the coconut fibres, and it suits the finished product really well. Nice chop!
(5 years and 3624 days ago)There are some good elements to this piece, but the lighting on the woman doesnt match the room, and the water droplets look a little out of place imo.
(5 years and 3625 days ago)never thought i'd say this, but thanks for giving us the finger man. Top chop. GL
(5 years and 3625 days ago)nice detail. that looks nice, can i have the other half?
(5 years and 3625 days ago)now there's a nice shot, and an even better title!
(5 years and 3625 days ago)got the idea of the shot as soon as i saw it, beautiful concept and very well captured
(5 years and 3625 days ago)I hope you didnt set that all up just for this shoot :p
(5 years and 3625 days ago)very clean shot
(5 years and 3625 days ago)i'm afraid I have to agree with friiskiwi on this one, if you had a little more shadow it would be better on theme. Really nice shot though
(5 years and 3625 days ago)I love the colour from the purple cabbage, but is that a cherry on top thats not in half? Either way a very nice image
(5 years and 3625 days ago)youll have to put more work in than simply flipping the flame and putting it on a different object! I'd pull one image as they are too similar and it's obvious they are both from the same author. Only IMO of course
(5 years and 3626 days ago)not an original idea, but well done
(5 years and 3626 days ago)perfectly on theme and nicely put together. Well done.
(5 years and 3626 days ago)Like the unique perspective, and well put together too!
(5 years and 3626 days ago)a high-res would be great to view the details, but at least this one is on theme . From this view my only suggestion would be some shadowing behind the popped up elements to show the depth more clearly. Nice image though.
(5 years and 3626 days ago)Unfortunately the globe takes most of the attention away from the book. Perhaps you could crop the image to make the pop-up the focal point. Oh and a high-res would be nice too.
(5 years and 3626 days ago)i love it. very muppet like characters that have a nice 'personality' about them. A real contender imho.
(5 years and 3626 days ago)Stunning and a very deserving winner. My only question is why this only scored 76%!?! I would love to know what it takes to get a properly high score on this site!
(5 years and 3627 days ago)Interesting title for the work, I think I've seen a movie with the same title before :P
(5 years and 3631 days ago)The lighting is spectacular, the whole thing is stunning. I don't know how anyone is going to top this one.
(5 years and 3633 days ago)Nessie is another term for the Loch Ness Monster, it has that type of look about it (he has a long curved neck).
(5 years and 3633 days ago)It doesn't get much more Aussie than what you've captured there! (unless there was a rusty holden ute in the background)
(5 years and 3634 days ago)I like this, not sure exactly how I feel about the stark contrast in textures between the birds and the trees, but I think it works.
(5 years and 3653 days ago)I like it, the streaks of light look a little off though, and maybe add a lens flare.
(5 years and 3653 days ago)Love the idea, very original, I think the doors look to out of place, perhaps a border of clouds around them or even fading the edges might help. Fix that and strighten the desk and you'll have a great image
(5 years and 3653 days ago)Very nicely done, personally i think the face lets the rest of it down a bit, but overall I really like it.
(5 years and 3653 days ago)Very nice and emotive. I like the subtle touch of the face in the clouds, which I presume is your mother. Great job
(5 years and 3654 days ago)Anna is right about the pattern, but I think we can forgive a minor error for such a beautiful piece of work!
(5 years and 3654 days ago)If you add some highlights to the coffee warrior to make him look more liquid that would help - he just looks like a shadow now. Also the shadows from the men need a little work. Good concept though
(5 years and 3654 days ago)I like what you have done, but the work on the chocolates in the front is a little rough, if you tidy them up and perhaps blur them a bit to focus more on the person/dress, that will help.
(5 years and 3655 days ago)I like the idea but the masking on the boat isnt great and you have enlarged it too much so it looks pixelated - it just doesnt blend with the rest of the image
(5 years and 3656 days ago)the wall is magically floating over the sea - wierd. Good job attaching the body to the head, but the mane needs work too
(5 years and 3656 days ago)Just one of those entries that looks stunningly simple - no need to overdo it, just rely on the skill. Awesome job and top marks!
(5 years and 3656 days ago)Nator,l I agree with you that the image is strong enough on it's own ,but this is fairytales, and the book is a great idea and well executed - high marks
(5 years and 3656 days ago)I think I know who did this one ;-p... this is just awesome work, I am looking for anything you have missed but It's all great (other than the fact that she would snap in half if her waist was that small )
(5 years and 3658 days ago)I don't get it, have you even manipulated this in any way or have you just posted a pic? ;-p
(5 years and 3658 days ago)ok, first of all we know you're a beginner, no offence intended but you are obvoiusly playing around with cutting & pasting, different filters etc. What you need to ask yourself is why am I editing the image this way?... Is it to give it an old school b&w photo effect, something more abstract etc. Unfortunately this has just taken what look to be some decent stock images and made them hard to look at. But continue to play and you'll find what looks good - and dont be afraid to ask people here for advice, there are some talented people here (I'm still a beginner too but I hope this helped )
(5 years and 3660 days ago)Very nice work, you made Bob look jolly - no small feat . Good addition of the tint on the glasses too.
(5 years and 3660 days ago)Really good execution on this one. Viewing the high res is a must. Well done!
(5 years and 3661 days ago)no offence author, but this is very hard on the eyes. Why did you choose to go with this very high contrast image for the people?
(5 years and 3661 days ago)
