I'd like it even more if you warped the text a little to match the contours of the body.
(5 years and 3393 days ago)author if you dont want feedback, dont allow comments. Dan has taken the time to give you some meaningful (and deserved) feedback, don't be a douchebag about it.
(5 years and 3397 days ago)Glad you said it first Raz... I mean Ricky! I think this time the majority of people will agree with your comment :P
(5 years and 3398 days ago)On the photo, it is a nice shot, could be a little sharper but a nice image, GL!
Author, really no need for the snappy comments when it was clearly stated as an opinion. PERSONALLY I agree with you having the focus on the art, but a little more detail on the shoe would have been nice. Peace
(5 years and 3406 days ago)of course everyone will apply their own tastes here, and some will love this... others not as much. I think you have a great idea, just a little too busy with the hands and glitter.
(5 years and 3406 days ago)Perhaps if you made it more suggestive by only having one hand in shot, and slightly pulling down the underwear (a little to the side of course :P). This is a traditionally suggestive pose and could work well with such a tightly framed shot...
I think we all knew who shot this one. Interesting that the point of focus seems to be on the writing of the camera strap, it certainly draws your eye there. As always, wonderful work with light and shadow!
(5 years and 3406 days ago)I hope this is not offensive to you, but if I looked down to a view like that, I'd just glue my chin to my chest! :P
(5 years and 3420 days ago)Just the sort of stuff I had in mind - nice work!
(5 years and 3425 days ago)Changes have made the world of difference. Top job
(5 years and 3431 days ago)ok erikuri, fair call. Hard to tell without an SBS and while we assume the texture is overlaid on the orange, we cant be sure.
(5 years and 3435 days ago)I know where this guy came from, he's modeled on Zurg (the badguy from Toy Story . I agree with Kid about the textures, but pverall this is a very good image, nicely done.
(5 years and 3435 days ago)Great image and very well blended, my only thoughts are that if you added some rust texture to the wings that might have integrated them a little better (only IMO). Great chop.
(5 years and 3435 days ago)I love the image overall, but the sneakers and scarf need to be fixed to make this a contender. I'll hold my vote for now and see what you can come up with.
(5 years and 3436 days ago)Very funny and um... asthetically pleasing... but very well chopped also. Nicely done!
(5 years and 3436 days ago)Some subtle shading but it has certainly helped. GL
(5 years and 3436 days ago)As usual Worlock has it spot on, good changes so far though.
(5 years and 3436 days ago)Awesome idea and really well executed. Looks like a scene from Transformers
(5 years and 3437 days ago)I really like the cartoony feel to it. A little more shading to give it some depth would be good, and I think the colour on the face is a bit too light and is washed out against the background, but that's imo. Very nice job overall.
(5 years and 3438 days ago)Personally I would make the image bigger, and the zip takes too much focus and therefore looks a bit pasted on rather than being part of the orange. Perhaps if you masked out the sides of the zipper and left the teeth, or toned the colour to match the orange more.
(5 years and 3438 days ago)Still for a first entry this is very nice!
Simple, well composed and shaded. A very nice end result, well done.
(5 years and 3438 days ago)Doesn't the title of the image give that away erikuri?? Anyway a pretty simple chop but I like the effect.
(5 years and 3438 days ago)haha, we know why this guy's headed to nimbin! Wonder how much of it is in that bag :P
(5 years and 3443 days ago)I dont know if it's the way the bonsai has been cut out but it looks a little rough and doesn't look like part of the background image. You could have just posted the 'house' parts on an existing tree image imo (using a little larger tree image would give more focus on theactual elements of your chop too, it looks a bit tiny now).
(5 years and 3443 days ago)Funny idea but I'm afraid the quality of the chop is not great. It doesnlt look like the guns are part of the image, why are some parts of the guns transparent?
(5 years and 3443 days ago)Great job, I really cant find anything to pick on with this one.
(5 years and 3444 days ago)Very nice job. Good mood to this pic
(5 years and 3444 days ago)Quite a simple chop technically, but a great idea and your execution is excellent, a very realistic result.
(5 years and 3444 days ago)I'm not a big fan of the background personally, but the birds are great. You have done a wonderful job on the shading.
(5 years and 3444 days ago)It is a little flat looking, but I'd expect that - it gives it a nice cartoony feel. Cool image.
(5 years and 3444 days ago)I think you need to pay more attention to the size of the faces, it would be more effective if they line up well and look like the same person aged and un-aged.
(5 years and 3444 days ago)This has a very nice feel to it and he details are great, especially the long feathers from the tail. I agree with adding a stick to sit on - but it is really great just as is too. Well done.
(5 years and 3444 days ago)very imaginitive and wwll exectued.
(5 years and 3444 days ago)Great find. I think this would look great if you were able to take the shot without the grass/trees in the shot - going for the minimalist style.
(5 years and 3445 days ago)Beautifully done.
(5 years and 3448 days ago)Nice shot, out of the box thinking on this one.
(5 years and 3449 days ago)beautiful clean capture
(5 years and 3449 days ago)That has to be a rotated image. All credit to you author, this is awesome!
(5 years and 3449 days ago)I have to agree with Josh here, the dark lighting almost gives the shot a bit of a sinister mood. Like the lobster is going to come back to life and attack. hehe
(5 years and 3450 days ago)My fav so far. A good subject, and some thought put into the composition too. Nice job.
(5 years and 3450 days ago)I know this is a matter of personal taste, but I find this very unappealing. I think the dark lighting is part of the reason.
(5 years and 3450 days ago)I like the finished product. Well blended, but to me it still looks like the tiger wants to eat the poor little guy
(5 years and 3452 days ago)It doesn't look like a single picture, but a bunch of images pasted together. Blending, as ankit said, is the art of making the separate images fit together and look like one. Different lighting, image resolutions, perspectives and shadows all contribute to this blending.
(5 years and 3452 days ago)My simple advice for this one, try removing the front cat and mouse - might make an immediate difference. Keep practicing!
To me they almost look like musical notes. This is a wonderful capture!
(5 years and 3452 days ago)Really good idea. Great shot!
(5 years and 3452 days ago)Oh and Karaflazz it's called the 'death star' :P
Nice idea but the execution is pretty average, the background is too harsh and the pic is OOF. Maybe reshoot and I'll hold my vote
(5 years and 3452 days ago)Great effect here, makes me dizzy but in a good way
(5 years and 3456 days ago)Looks good to me, I wonder if it would look better with his back legs pointing straight down - but that is only a minor thing.
(5 years and 3457 days ago)Nice job, I'd fix the shadow though - maybe add a bit of blur and have a play with different blending modes.
(5 years and 3457 days ago)This is good work, and funny. Really well done.
(5 years and 3459 days ago)I had to look at the SBS to see how you used the source. I think the finished image looks pretty realistic, but not great use of the image (only IMO).
