I like the paneled background, but agree with Vibeke. Try a crop that cuts out a third of the right side of the image some of the top half of the decanter neck. Nice effort and composition.

Well done. I hope you were able to salvage some of this for a good dinner salad. The draped curtain is perfect and certainly adds to the old master feeling.
