Oh, poor Miss White! Very clever concept, author.
(5 years and 3020 days ago)That´s funny! Good!
(5 years and 3060 days ago)sorry... don't understand your concept
(5 years and 3061 days ago)A matched set of 2 each what author? The guidelines state : maximum of one (1) child... appears to be 3 children to me???
(5 years and 3062 days ago)Edit: I see, one is the mother?....still 1 too many kids according to guidelines, sorry
"maximum of one child"
(5 years and 3062 days ago)Nice, but you need to rotate it 90 degrees clockwise
(5 years and 3062 days ago)Nice concept, IMHO colors are too bright, don't look very real, GL!

(5 years and 3065 days ago)Try to make details on the boats different, not just the numbers on the sails.
(5 years and 3065 days ago)you can colorise the boats' body for adding more variety... or some more variations...
(5 years and 3065 days ago)"I'll probably be lion dinner soon."
(5 years and 3098 days ago)"Maybe I should wash more often."
"I don't get it, this grass looks gray enough for me!"
It's very blurry looking. Try using a harder edged brush for cleaner lines.
(5 years and 3099 days ago)good idea author gl
(5 years and 3099 days ago)Good idea, but the B/W smoke has 3 hard edges, and the man & skull are distorted. (When scaling images, hold the shift key to avoid distortion). GL author.
(5 years and 3101 days ago)Also it would help blurring the edges of your objects. Easiest way is ctrl click on layer icon to select its contour, then go to Select modify contract by a few pixels, invert selection and apply gaussian blur.
(5 years and 3102 days ago)The further an object is the more desaturated will appear, use this to create perspective.
Drop shadow effect is not a good idea for this photo since it makes them look like they are on top of an image, not in it.
(5 years and 3102 days ago)Try to use Channels to cut out the fire:
(5 years and 3102 days ago)Select the picture layer of the fire, and click channels ( if it's not active near the layer tab , go to Window -channels)
Choose the channel with most contrast and use select color range to select the fire. Use the fuziness bar to adjust the selection. after you click ok and have the selection press Ctrl J to make a new layer out of the selection. Try it multiple times until you like what you get.
Selectiv via channel gives you a more transparent look which blends better in background.
You need better drugs.
(5 years and 3103 days ago)Interesting explanation, author. I'm glad to have it, since my initial answer to your description ("The image tells it all" was "Ummm... no, it doesn't." Maybe it's because I do my own nails. Good luck. MossyB makes a good point about the masking. Expanding your selection by 1 or 2 more pixels would remedy that next time.
(5 years and 3104 days ago)**CORRECTION: CONTRACTING your selection (make the selection smaller than the outside edge of the object you want to keep) by 1 or 2 pixels. Sorry! Another way to smooth the edge is to feather it by 0.5 pixels before the chop.

(5 years and 3105 days ago)Good luck to you!!
(5 years and 3105 days ago)very distorted looking...and what are the blobs meant for?
(5 years and 3105 days ago)Wow, lots to look at! Only suggestion would be shading where the arms and legs meets the blob. Good luck!
(5 years and 3105 days ago)Great concept and better thatn the origional cover which you incorporated on the bottle
(5 years and 3106 days ago)There's a slight outline where you've cut the feet from the background. The rainbow background you've added also looks very flat, with no shading or depth to match the feet so obviously pasted on top. Perhaps a very slight bit of shadow to correspond with the feet will help.
(5 years and 3107 days ago)re check your source image link--it takes you to the original contest source
