Pretty good masking, but the top of the tower is cut off.

it is very dark, maybe you could add a hi res to it, that might help me see it. is there someone/something in the foreground enjoying the view? i can't tell, but do not readily see anything there.

Good idea, i like the darkness. The highres does not look as good as the small image (edges of hands, mirror and the jawbone overlays the clothes).

Your image doesn't need to be enormous, anything between 2.5mg and 3.5mg is plenty big enough.

The reaper has some white lines around the edges and the grass is not visible on the woman, is she 's laying there, some grass would raise on the contact zones.

Cemetery is a previously manipulated image, the woman needs a better shadow, and 2/3 of the pic is just black.

Good idea, but the things in her hands (little cyclones?) look a little wierd. Maybe at least flip the one on the left so they aren't identical

Very nice, but the woman in white seems a little small and the demon is pretty subtle.

The rim of the moon wouldn't be showing in front of the trees.

I had to look twice to find the demon, maybe you could make it more visible.

Good idea. Masking needs work.

You've got the makings of a beautiful piece here. Couple of points: 1. Ditto CMYK. Either find a real one, or make this one look more real. 2. Masking of the model could use some improving to soften sharp points. 3. The sky would not pass in front of the tree, so you might want to erase the sky there. Good luck!

I'm sorry this entry came in so late; with a little tweak of lighting it might have been even better than it is. Your model choices are great (love the expression on the standing model) and the background is nicely colored. However, your characters do not have any of that beautiful light on them. The table/slab is bright, but the dead princess's body doesn't cast a shadow onto it nor do her clothes (nor the standing queen) have any golden highlights from the bright center light. Try to work on the masking...there are obvious white edges on the hair & body. The edges could be softened, too. Good concept, though.

I like this, but I might have tried to blend out the same sand spatter pattern - that's the giveaway that it's a copy and flip - and perhaps add more of the bright light reflection on the bottom half, like the original. Good luck!

Nice idea and effect...however, I do think the overall image is too dark. Her legs melt into the shadows. Adding a little light to the foreground would benefit the final result.

The model seems to be in an entirely different light than the background. Like, she's in daylight and the surroundings are night. Consider doing a color match so that she fits the scene better.

A good start, but the nose and mouth are still too large, and the chin not angled enough to look very "manga-ish".

Awesome—except the apparently un-manga-ed, chubby, wrinkly hand is creepy.
