Nice work I would like to see a SBS of how you came up with this idea
(5 years and 1478 days ago)This looks much better than the original dark version. But the moon is gone, I don't know if that was intentional or not
(5 years and 1479 days ago)Congrats on your win
(5 years and 1482 days ago)Congrats!
(5 years and 1483 days ago)Congrats!
(5 years and 1483 days ago)I like this very much, precisely my taste of chop I do however agree with JimLemon that it would benefit from some final touches. Some color balance, gradient overlay or some other type of tweak would help really tie it all together.
(5 years and 1487 days ago)Nicely done nevertheless.
Congrats!
(5 years and 1489 days ago)Nice job here, I really like this. I have two small things that you could consider.
(5 years and 1491 days ago)First of all the masking on the back looks a bit sloppy and a bit too sharp. I don't know if you are trying to make the coffee come up a bit on the back, but it doesn't look right. The surface of the cup is very solid and sharp, so the elephant pressing up against it would match that clean line. For this purpose, the pen tool is really the only thing you should work with when you mask.
You can look at this tutorial - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dSdov7nVYdo
The other thing is that you have some areas of the body that has lost its texture. Especially on the legs. Try going over it with the clone stamp tool to give back some of that lost texture, this you will have to do by trial and error because it can be difficult.
Anyway, I like it and I wish you good luck!
I am sure you are back in no time, it is obvious you have talent.
(5 years and 1503 days ago)Well done! It looks really nice now with the shield and your changes.
(5 years and 1503 days ago)I would like to give you two more things to consider if you don't mind. I am not saying you should change it but it might be something to think about.
The edges of the flower shelf are very sharp now, just a tad softer would make it blend better with the surroundings I think.
The second thing is when you add a texture onto an object that is "3D", you want to make sure that a line is not going straight over two separate parts, like the line on the left should onto the wing, if you know what I mean?
Anyway, great chop, I really like it.
Nice job here. I have some things you might consider.
(5 years and 1503 days ago)The hole in the clock is a bit flat, if you add some highlights to the inside I think the effect will be better, and make the edges just a little less sharp. Look at this picture as an example how to add some highlights:

I would also warp the metal om the column to make it less flat, just warp it downwards slightly and add a little 3D effect.
On the flowers you can add some highlights on top and some shadows underneath to give them a bit more body.
It is a bit unclear where the light is coming from but I will grant you the artistic freedom
Good luck!
Cool, nice work . Although the plane in the top right and the plane in the top left looks to be partially erased. Maybe you can fix that?
(5 years and 1504 days ago)Congrats on third place!
(5 years and 1504 days ago)Congrats! Nice work.
(5 years and 1504 days ago)This picture really got me looking, not often that happens. Nice!
(5 years and 1505 days ago)This is nice, I like the color scheme here!
(5 years and 1508 days ago)I know it is an artsy piece but I would still suggest giving that chameleon some shadow and matching the lighting on the arm. Especially where the very light part on her arm meets the tail. The darkness of the tail makes it look like it doesn't fit together.
Consider that you have a strong light shining on the arm, it would also shine on the chameleons tail and make it much brighter than it is now.
Anyway, nice work and good luck in the contest!
Nice job If I may offer some advice? You should be a little bit more consitent with your water reflections I think. The boat reflection is distorted and that is a nice touch but then all of your reflections should be the same. You have very sharp reflections under the shoe and under the boat but basically the whole image should be reflected equally in the water.
(5 years and 1510 days ago)I really like how you did the water over the shoe!
You have a bit of a conflicting lightsource in the picture with light coming from the right on the gnome and from the left on the boat.
Anyway, nice image and good luck!
Great, congrats!
(5 years and 1511 days ago)Congrats! Well deserved.
(5 years and 1511 days ago)I really like this one, top three for me if not my favorite. The only thing that throws me off is the eyes that doesn't "look" right to me. But all in all a very good entry.
