It make me laugh just looking at it. Great capture.
(5 years and 1230 days ago)great work
(5 years and 2295 days ago)I love the exposure and composition. Great photo.
(5 years and 2337 days ago)Angry bird not big bird. Nice sick day
(5 years and 2339 days ago)I do not know much about that method, but have heard that if done right it is safe and there is nothing wrong with it.
(5 years and 2340 days ago)yes, I understand. Still a great old time photo. One year a farmer used their horse locally and I went out an took photos, and ever since I have wanted to try a similar shoot again.
(5 years and 2341 days ago)It may also help to over expose the photo by a half stop or more, as this would help with the exposure of the main subject.
(5 years and 2341 days ago)I like how you captured the motion with the horse's leg position and that you can clearly see the surrounding environment.
(5 years and 2341 days ago)Overall technically correct, but the halter in the plane of focus is a little distracting as well as the framing could be improved.
(5 years and 2341 days ago)Well done, great exposure and a classic looking into the horse soul photo.
(5 years and 2341 days ago)Nice shoot. Exposure, timing, and framing are all great. I love the marking on the foals face.
(5 years and 2341 days ago)Overall this shot is technically correct, but there could be more emotion is the man was looking at the camera or connecting more with the horse.
(5 years and 2341 days ago)I love the lighting. In my opinion this photo could be improved by more room on the left as the horse seem tight to the frame when the other has so much room.
(5 years and 2341 days ago)Nice old time photo. I think it could be improved by shooting lower and having a narrower depth of field.
(5 years and 2341 days ago)I like that you shot at the horses eye level and framed tight. I take in that the lower quality is do to poor lighting in the barn.
(5 years and 2341 days ago)I love standardbreds. Nice job composition the horses as a triangle at different depths with on the front in focus.
(5 years and 2341 days ago)Good exposure on a tricky subject, black and white horse. I am interested in what the rope around the horses neck is for? is is tied that way?
(5 years and 2341 days ago)I love this shot. Great exposure and framing. It is great how you framed both the horse and reflection.
(5 years and 2341 days ago)The background is not that distracting, as you did a good job at have a narrow depth of field; however, the image may have been improve by shooting more on the horses eye level.
(5 years and 2341 days ago)I really like this shoot, but agree that having the horse off center may have helped the photo. You have a nice leading line with the fence that could have been better taken advantage of if you framed the image so the fence was in each corner. But I know these shots are fast, and you did a great job.
(5 years and 2341 days ago)Nice exposure and framing, but the focus is off and it is preferred to have the front legs in a tucked in position.
(5 years and 2341 days ago)I like the lighting, but the image quality is low and there is a lot of blur in the photo.
(5 years and 2341 days ago)Congrats, this is an outstanding shot.
(5 years and 2824 days ago)Good shot, would be better if you left some more room at the bottom of the frame.
(5 years and 2839 days ago)Great idea and execution!
(5 years and 2854 days ago)Great shot, the framing could be better if the frame did not crop the feet.
(5 years and 2862 days ago)Would be nicer if the framing did not cut off his feet.
(5 years and 2862 days ago)that is no duck, good shot nonetheless
(5 years and 2862 days ago)Reminds me of Jack Frost
(5 years and 2881 days ago)Beautiful Work
(5 years and 2887 days ago)Great emotion.
(5 years and 2908 days ago)I hope he was not headed for a pot. Great Shot.
(5 years and 2910 days ago)I have never got the timing for a fly cat shot, great work.
(5 years and 2912 days ago)My horse has a bath tub in her pasture!
(5 years and 3164 days ago)Sorry I am new to the group. Did not know that I was not suppose to do that.

is his head really that big or is is a wide angle lens? If it is a distortion, I thing it adds to the images. I love the big puppy dog eyes. Wish the focus was a little better.
(5 years and 3166 days ago)Very cute. Wish you could have got a little more light in his eyes. They look like black orbs, makes me think of the quotes they say about whale eyes.
(5 years and 3166 days ago)For what reason? The colors would pop with a better exposure. Right now the bottom right corner is the brightest, thus it pull my eyes from the vase and flowers.
(5 years and 3166 days ago)Underexposed. But still beautiful.
(5 years and 3166 days ago)Could improve with a better focus.
(5 years and 3167 days ago)Love the idea to finish the flower. Like the wall color and the black shadow contrast nicely.
(5 years and 3167 days ago)Beautiful vase. Nice simple background and great depth of field. The background colors work nice with the subject.
(5 years and 3167 days ago)I love the idea. But too dark. The tones are all gray and black. Expose so that the flower is closer to white. It will stand out more.
(5 years and 3167 days ago)I feel the background is too busy. Distracts from the vase and flowers.
(5 years and 3167 days ago)Sorry for your loss. I love her blue eyes. Could improve with a better focus on the eyes, not behind on the ears.
(5 years and 3167 days ago)I really like their colours. Reminds me of a dog I once knew. In looks and in personality.
(5 years and 3168 days ago)I like the concepts. However I would say the image is a little underexposed. Snow is hard because it overwhelms the camera exposure, so you have to use exposure compensation.
(5 years and 3169 days ago)I cannot believe he can pick that brick up.
(5 years and 3169 days ago)Nice DoF.
(5 years and 3169 days ago)I love this picture and dog. Although the black in the background is a little distracting, but it is nice that you have rim lighting on the ears. I would like to see the ears have a little more light, mostly his left one is too dark.
