Well done...lively & humorous!
(5 years and 3189 days ago)The synopsis of this is great! Nice storytelling thru excellent work. Great job...love the foreground figure in front of the light source. Brilliant.
(5 years and 3189 days ago)Everyone should see this in high resolution to appreciate it. It's great, author!
(5 years and 3189 days ago)Fantastic work author
(5 years and 3190 days ago)sorry.. doesn't look anything like a strawberry cheesecake.. Looks more like one of those pirate flags with incredible work and fantastic detail.. the overall hand work is spectacularly intricate and very professional... doesn't look ANYTHING like a cheesecake.. don't worry.. you will get better author.. LOL..
(5 years and 3190 days ago)(WOW.. and WOW again.. the High res is AWESOME!!!! now if you could add tinker bell, we'd have a super cheesy image.. LOL)
Great job.. I'd hire you in a minute to paint all the murals I dream of in my house LOLOL) (I want my kitchen coated in whip cream and strawberry cheese cake.. with a Giant Portabella mushroom somewhere_)
GOOD LUCK (instant fav as well)
Brilliant work! To all who question the blur - IMHO it's MOVING! being sucked down the throat of that beast in the back. Great cleanup job, author, and really creative work.
(5 years and 3208 days ago)Great and creepy creature work!!! Love what you have done and the colours and composition are excellent!
(5 years and 3210 days ago)Fantastic piece of work author...There is few great elements fitted perfectly with the overall mood...well done
(5 years and 3210 days ago)I love your work! Something surreal, like a dream!
(5 years and 3210 days ago)Too dark. It's hard to see and appreciate exactly what's going on. Underwater light wouldn't be such a tightly focused yellow beam from the upper corner.
(5 years and 3211 days ago)Come on; we all know that species of Anguilliformes prefers metalic blue lures... lol
(5 years and 3211 days ago)Nice work!
great image, only the line for the lure ... i think it should be light gray and a bit transparent , not brownish
(5 years and 3211 days ago)Great work.
(5 years and 3211 days ago)@Drivenslush: I think the blur is indicative of submersion.
Really creative use of source! Not sure I'd want to mess with that fish once I 'lured' it.
(5 years and 3211 days ago)I agree - awesome pic. your sbs doesn't really explain how the teeth were done - could you give a better explaination?
(5 years and 3211 days ago)Super duper chop.. but in all honesty.. I think you blurred it too much.. (your steps show a very awesome clear image.. but that's just me.. excellent creation and super fav.. good luck.. but I don't really think you need it) Reminds me of the scene under water in Star Wars Episode 1.. hehehe with all the fish eating the bigger fish.. LOL.. good luck
(5 years and 3211 days ago)all IMHO.. of course.. I love this whole concept.. and the work on the teeth is exhausting.. you owe me lots of Starbucks Espresso.. LOL
Creative.. well done
(5 years and 3211 days ago)Great painting author...one of the best in the contest for sure...gl
(5 years and 3222 days ago)Nice, I see Mary and Joseph, Where is Jesus? I like it, a new vision for this glass, GL.
(5 years and 3224 days ago)Nice vision. Didn't see figures from the original...but it's vivid and pronounced here.
(5 years and 3225 days ago)congratulations...
(5 years and 3227 days ago)Congrats!!
(5 years and 3227 days ago)Nice , surreal feeling to this and very well done.
(5 years and 3228 days ago)Beautiful work here... love the dummies and the way you used your imagination to create this entry. GL
(5 years and 3228 days ago)Very modernistic approach, clever work, author. I'm not sure what it means, but that's what makes it true art!
(5 years and 3228 days ago)Just love it...simple but very impressive
(5 years and 3229 days ago)VEry clever idea =)
(5 years and 3229 days ago)This is delightful and whimsical, author. I credit your creativity in using a different portion of the source other than the main object in it. Love the combination of image and digital painting, too.
(5 years and 3229 days ago)I wonder why no one notice another entries who use less of source image - for example those entries who could be constructed from any other source image (the pieces of source are used only for their texture or color...) I like this entry, at least you could recognise a good piece of source. Good job!
(5 years and 3229 days ago)Nice image , but have to agree a bit with mossyB
(5 years and 3229 days ago)Absolutely fascinating image ... you have created a unique and diverse piece here ... it has a subtle message and I am going to fav it so I can keep coming back and see if I can figure out what it means (to me).
(5 years and 3230 days ago)would be perfect on the cover of a children's book. Very lovely, great imagination!
(5 years and 3230 days ago)Very pleasant scene ... interesting takes on the source.
(5 years and 3230 days ago)My only "critique" would be that the little boat is perhaps a bit too centered ... it would add a little more life to the image if it was not directly in the middle of the image ... see here for Rule of Thirds and composition info http://photoinf.com/General/KODAK/guidelines_for_better_photographic_composition_rule_of_thirds.html ).
Sorry I am so late with my comment I know there is nothing you can do now but thought for next time
Romantic image, really beautiful!
(5 years and 3230 days ago)Very nice result, gl
(5 years and 3231 days ago)Scenic atmosphere with nice composition.
(5 years and 3231 days ago)Different approach author but great final product...well done
(5 years and 3231 days ago)Gostei das sombras e cores
(5 years and 3231 days ago)Good thinking, good color!
(5 years and 3231 days ago)Pretty, but too CBR.
(5 years and 3231 days ago)EDIT: "CBR" = Chopped Beyond Recognition. It's when you create a "jigsaw puzzle image by deconstructing the source image so badly that you could have used any image of anything to create with, because the original source is no longer visibly identifiable within the chop.
Warping, recoloring, and adding to an image is one thing. Chopping into such "mystery meat" shapes minimizes it's use in the final image. While it's allowed, (In the opinion of some), it's not the best example of one's chopping skills.
Very Beatrix Potter only transported to modern day
(5 years and 3231 days ago)Imaginative and beautiful. Nice approach to use the source without the swing. It belongs in a classic storybook, my friend.
(5 years and 3231 days ago)WOW!
(5 years and 3232 days ago)Great creativity and execution
(5 years and 3232 days ago)nice image!! very original entrie! GL
(5 years and 3232 days ago)Really strange... I like it!!
(5 years and 3232 days ago)Good luck!
very neat intelligent work....instant fav from me author...best of luck
(5 years and 3232 days ago)lovely creation, I love how the one figure is walking into the masses .. good luck!!!
(5 years and 3233 days ago)Great work...it's beyond surreal. It made me smile...since at first I thought they were crash test dummies being used to test park benches. It then became thought provoking. Nice job!
(5 years and 3233 days ago)Would fit in well framed in a contemporary high rise apartment. Nice job, good luck!
