Now that the criteria has been changed, your image is on theme, It's a great image but I would still remove the colour from everything except the walls and the painting. It would make for a much more powerful image.

Author, the rules have changed to one or more objects can be blue. So the walls and picture being colored is on theme now.

Interesting, but I think one of us have misunderstood the contest. The way I understood it was we should use a B/W and only colour one item.
I hope the mods will explain.

I love the composition on this . After the contest you should take this into PS and tweak it really nice and have it blown up and framed in square format. Would really look nice hanging on a wall. Maybe try a B/W too.

agreeing about the feet. a shot like this (being a pin up that is) should include the entire package.
also... i'd consider bringing up the blacks. right now they seem a little washed out and noisy. which i'm sure you didn't intend.
and vogue...right, well they didn't do much with the classic pinups, more with catwalk style fashion. actually, it would be a great shot for a rebel rods mag if you had posed in front of an old roadster.

I have to agree with Kyricom when it comes to the feet. You have left plenty of empty space above the model, but managed to trim her toes off.... There is nothing wrong with cropping, but it needs to be done thoughtfully. This looks like an accident, this happens, just keep that in mind........

I like the idea, but the shot, imo, is too busy with background. The large bright area to the side of the model throws the image off balance, and takes your eyes away from her.

Reminds me of Johnny 5 from the Short Circuit movies! Great find, author. I would recrop it a bit though so that the top of the log isn't being cut off by the frame (or, if that isn't possible, crop it in more at the bottom so that they are both slightly cut off). All the best!

Looks like a beautiful spot, but you seem to have the focus on the plants near the front, rather than the waterfall.
