kinda says "I''ll smile if I really HAVE to!"...

the lines formed by the bottom of the skirt and the placement of the shoulders and forward arm actually make this a fantastic portrait...very well done author! There is a wonderful triangle formed by the pose that really draws the eye to the facial expression

agree...the angle (or lean) is fine, it actually works in favor of the composition here, it's the cropping problem...in the future just be certain to double check the image in the view finder especially at the edges for accidental cropping...otherwise a great idea

Author, macro is a 1x or life-size 1:1 ratio based on the image size on the sensor not the finished example...given that reasoning the image is bigger than the actual object, a billboard sized print of an entire bus would be macro too???
