i really like this shot. the bubbles in the glaze and the crazing (cracking) in the glaze as well...its very good!

Isn't it easier to knock down the pins if you face the otherway?

It's not a snap...It's a photo.Snap is a photo from a trip someone had on an other country or something.
A detail that the author saw & mange to capture is photography.

I did not question it... but when I look at a picture of a statue, I tend to imagine the story behind the picture, and not the statue... I actually made up this whole story in my head about how the photographer felt as he looked at this statue and remembered someone dear who had been lost in war... because, honestly, the statue itself is a pretty obvious "story"... understand my comment now?

I thought the story here was obvious from the get go, and was surprised to read comments that were questioning that as it is a very strong statement. Very well done.

Jawsh - the statue depicts a soldier holding a handful of dog tags - most likely from his fallen comrades - So he is more than likely remembering his mates
