Haha. Made me smile in real life. This needs to be turned into an animated gif. $50 on the the left Ladybug. Any takers?
(5 years and 483 days ago)The noise was a good "selling point" when I looked at your final image vs the sources. The background was relatively noise free as well as most of the fish. The cat scene and that bending fish were chock full of noise. You took care of that and balanced it well in your final image as you said. And to me, cutting out all the frilly stuff on the seahorse and jelly fish is a plus as not everyone does that.
(5 years and 484 days ago)I need to make a rubber stamp image with "BWR Approved" on it. Something like this. www.goo.gl/wG11bk
We need to see there are lips under the paint.
(5 years and 484 days ago)VERY nice composite. Well done. The plants are extracted very well and that doesn't look easy. Good shadows on the grass under the bench. Fish are cut out perfectly. Nice overall temperature. Fantastic color matching. I'm impressed. I never vote till after the deadline for entries because people may make changes, but I can't wait to find out who made this.
(5 years and 485 days ago)Original!
(5 years and 485 days ago)Oh that poor cat.. scarred for life
(5 years and 485 days ago)ha ha ha ha ha.... gotcha, I don't understand it either.
(5 years and 486 days ago)How do you mean dynamism and spontaneity?
(5 years and 486 days ago)Oooh you did it. The bird has more depth now and doesn't look so flat. Pretty simple huh? Make sure to use Clipping Masks when doing this so that the darks get painted only on your subject.
(5 years and 487 days ago)well done for winning
(5 years and 487 days ago)congrats for 1 and 2
(5 years and 487 days ago)OMG.....I am trying hard not to GUSH but this is just simply superb. My husband was bringing me a cup of coffee as I was looking at this and he just said "WOW" and that is something coming from a L brained individual. Wonderful, emotive, colourful, surprising, inspiring. I think you can crop out that dark brown line on the margin at the right...a tighter nip that's all....maybe all the way around....?
(5 years and 487 days ago)Cool, congrats again.
(5 years and 487 days ago)This one had real personality...congrats
(5 years and 487 days ago)Congrats to you !
(5 years and 487 days ago)Congratulations Sylvie. You did a good job of turning the person into marble.
(5 years and 487 days ago)2nd and 3rd for you.
(5 years and 487 days ago)A lovely bird. I am sure you meant for the bird to be in harmony with its friend the butterfly. However, I am imagining the bird is hunting and then eating the butterfly 2 seconds later.
(5 years and 487 days ago)If you want to add depth to flat piece of stuff, sometime brushing some darker colors along the edges can work. Generally use a soft brush and a few layers of brushing with the darker brushing on top and getting lighter as you go down. I did this very roughly, very fast, and very sloppy to at least get a rough idea. Sometimes Normal, Multiply, Overlay, etc work well.

Pretty funny chop.
(5 years and 487 days ago)Thanks, I have saved your replies into a folder so I can refer to it when I need it.
(5 years and 488 days ago)I have written down this valuable information for me so I don't forget to try it. I do not know how to pick a "source layer" but will google it. Thank you very much.
(5 years and 489 days ago)Beautiful
(5 years and 489 days ago)That looks like some ooey gooey fun stuff my grandkids would love to play with.
(5 years and 489 days ago)there's the nice beauty on this picture, but when you zoom at full detail on this picture, there are some weird blurry spots in the picture, it looks like you did some minor corrections, which is fine, but it seems you did not use the right tool to do it. the very fine grain that is in the picture is gone on these places.. but heee.. who looks that close.
(5 years and 489 days ago)Clear, a photo well taken.
(5 years and 490 days ago)Please tell me what you did to this in order NOT to make it look cut out and pasted on? It blends in really well. Good work.
(5 years and 490 days ago)Ahhh this draws on the eye beautifully.
(5 years and 490 days ago)Oh, for the sky in background, a soft blur brush will help remove some of the speckling.
(5 years and 490 days ago)The bears' ground shadow is better. Maybe tone the brightness of those bears' highlights down some, they are in the shade of the the buildings.
(5 years and 490 days ago)Check the girl with the teddy bear's shadow, the opacity in particular. Look at the bicycle shadows for a reference. The girl's shadow looks too dark, maybe a tad of Gaussian blur and a slight opacity reduction. Hope this helps.
She's a cutie.
(5 years and 490 days ago)Yuk,you wolud not want to eat anything after this, more so with this hands
(5 years and 490 days ago)Thank you.
(5 years and 491 days ago)It still works fine for me. Try this and type in cast shadows in the search bar. https://www.photoshopessentials.com/
(5 years and 491 days ago)I'm using Chrome.
The link works for me. Just copy it and paste it into your browser. It's very helpful for creating cast shadows.

A fun photograph, from the planet, verdant!
(5 years and 492 days ago)Thank God for these hands that help to feed us. The photo is a tad soft on the hands, but I like the way you have included the meat around, framing the main focal point.
(5 years and 492 days ago)I'm dying to see the entire thingee he is painting. The story of the hands of a painter is strong tho'.
(5 years and 492 days ago)Strong photo, no muss no fuss...we get it instantly. Technically well done as well.
(5 years and 492 days ago)I lined up the concrete at the top and it is level, mind you, it is an old door after all.
(5 years and 492 days ago)You need this: https://www.photoshopessentials.com/photo-effects/cast-shadow/
(5 years and 492 days ago)Check the tilt in this photo please. A door that speaks to us of a life richly lived and a history.
(5 years and 492 days ago)Firenze, j't'adore! The Florence Marathon passes by these doors. Wonderful shot.
(5 years and 492 days ago)I found the door :

Good solid shot taken at eye level and although snappy I like the creativity that went into presenting these glasses to the public.
(5 years and 493 days ago)Hmmm I think the rule applies that no glasses on people, reflections I hope are acceptable. There is much to see in this upload, the "bits and bats" are quite scattered throughout.
(5 years and 493 days ago)Sorry mate, but in the contest rules for this one says no people allowed.
(5 years and 494 days ago)Agree with BWR.
(5 years and 495 days ago)Oh nice! You should have taken me with you.
(5 years and 495 days ago)the hand on our right looks flat. the other ones are a bit flat too but not near as bad.
