(5 years and 628 days ago)Nice work and good job on 2nd.
(5 years and 628 days ago)I use to own a Panasonic DMC-FZ18 back in 2007.
(5 years and 628 days ago)Really well made cameras.
This was actually my very first camera ever, thats the camera i entered photography with.
Just had to do the toothpaste thing.. didn't you? Goofball... (hehehe)
(5 years and 628 days ago)ahhh merci
(5 years and 628 days ago)lol
(5 years and 628 days ago)Author there are still problems with Unsplash but I was able to check your sources and they are fine.
(5 years and 629 days ago)I wish you had said something about this camera. What aspects of it do you really like and what aspects are sort of ....well....not quite perfect. The photograph itself is well done and I like the light source for it seems to punch out the camera making it more luminescent.
(5 years and 629 days ago)You have a great "punctum" that point that grabs at the eye all thanks to your dof usage. The gold in the focus area is really sharp with good texture showing and then softens into the background. The bokeh is brilliant and is the icing on this well baked cake for it gives it a further glitz and glitter story. Nice entry.
(5 years and 629 days ago)This shoe is a work of art and you have presented it beautifully and the title suits it very well. A very feminine photograph and I wonder how much these shoes would cost?
(5 years and 629 days ago)Looks like a musical instrument more than a steam powered weapon.
(5 years and 629 days ago)Solid and strong image, I looked up Ushant when you had told me you went there for a music festival. You live in a very picturesque part of the world.
(5 years and 629 days ago)Nicely set up with "love" and yes it is leather....sharp image...made me smile.
(5 years and 629 days ago)This would have worked well in the "footwear" contest too, maybe you could shoot the other foot This photo is sharp showing great lizard fake skin and I like how you have composed it with just the toe in.
(5 years and 629 days ago)For some reason this reminds me of my face. I like the textural quality but the dof could have kept the entire piece in sharpness. The orange colour is natural and not overdone.
(5 years and 629 days ago)You have a double whammy here...two towers. I like the crop in this highlighting the two towers without any further interference. It is a sharp image with good contrast and exposure.
(5 years and 630 days ago)Beyond cute. Is this fellow stuffed? How can he put up with his human's shenanigans, I dunno? The photo is clear and gave me my morning smile and I love it.
(5 years and 630 days ago)Good title and a warm close up of fire.
(5 years and 630 days ago)I like this because there is some story here to go with the fire.
(5 years and 630 days ago)Congrats!
(5 years and 633 days ago)Congrats!
(5 years and 633 days ago)It's a deal!
(5 years and 634 days ago)mmmmmm congrats on this win.
(5 years and 634 days ago)Yum, congrats on this win.
(5 years and 634 days ago)Congrats my seestah.
(5 years and 634 days ago)
(5 years and 635 days ago)Congrats Z. We made some art when everyone else didn't. We should be proud and get bonus points for meeting the challenge head on.
I like this one for many reasons: it is sharp "as a woman's tongue", it is exotic, it is well saturated but not overcooked, it has a nice tight crop and that way viewers instantly get pulled in. It is also nicely balanced (no tilt). I love the dynamic range of tones and to my eyes it is a stand out.
(5 years and 637 days ago)Wow on your creativity and wins.
(5 years and 639 days ago)Congrats to you mi amiga.
(5 years and 639 days ago)maybe try to blend the wings on the left girl a little better?
(5 years and 640 days ago)Congrats on this win.
(5 years and 640 days ago)Author your "taxis" look better, shadows and all. Be careful with the LSD. lol
(5 years and 640 days ago)Colourful and nicely framed to catch our eye and you succeeded. Very crisp and clear shot.
(5 years and 641 days ago)Cute. Was she really looking at that little red puppet in real life? Love the expression on her face.
(5 years and 641 days ago)Oh you're hogging all the glory. 2nd and 3rd. How do you have the time?
(5 years and 641 days ago)Congrats on second Z. I didn't vote in this contest because I don't kno0w a lot about movies and their posters. I have seen Avatar (created by skyangel) and Kill Bill 1 & 2 but never heard of any of the others, so I thought it best not to vote.
(5 years and 641 days ago)There are many things to like about this unusual and out of the box post. First of all , I really like the tilt GOOD FOR YOU to do this and if anyone tells you to straighten the horizon line go tell them to eat their lens cap! The image is , of course busy, but there is a story within that can be seen. That busy feeling adds to the excitement of a fair. Your dof usage has been artistically used to give us viewers that "witnessing" feel, like we are peering into a life happening. I like this very much and I hope it does well for you on this contest.
(5 years and 641 days ago)The very first thought that came to my mind was I wonder how much a box of these cost, they look posh with a heavy price tag! The colours are vibrant, and eye appealing and your composition of the set up is well taken. It is a happy snappy shot. I took one like this in a bakery this morning of chocolate cakes. We need to have a chocolate contest up!
(5 years and 641 days ago)what a catch and we cannot help but say WOW. Do you think a tighter crop on the sides would have punched out the focal point in your photo?
(5 years and 641 days ago)Oh this looks luscious, a different aperture would have rendered the entire log in full sharpness, however, that was something you were not gunning for, I bet .
(5 years and 641 days ago)OMG this looks so good, oh so good. I love your plate too. The photograph is very well composed with good marginal space and the details are clearly seen with a good dynamic range of tones making it easy to digest. I do not have any suggestions for improvement but you do know that a circular focal point cropped into a square format gives strength to an image because the sides of the square are equidistant and our eyes bounce from side to side as we study the image and the eyes just don't want to leave the photo. Very well done.
(5 years and 641 days ago)I like the Armadillo lamp for he looks like he is sympathetic to Skyangel who is hidiing beneath the sheets from all those snakes!
