(5 years and 715 days ago)Oh... I can show you how to cut out that Baobab tree in about less than a minute. You need to learn "Channel Masking" as well as using "Calculations". PM me and I will either help you or find a tutorial for ya.
(5 years and 715 days ago)Congrats Z
(5 years and 715 days ago)That plane looks like a nightmare to cut out.
(5 years and 715 days ago)Those are ladybugs.
(5 years and 716 days ago)Such determination. I also think keeping that tree in the frame works well to give us sense of scale and distance and direction.
(5 years and 716 days ago)Thumbs up for this take. Especially nice with the white out back ground. A striking shot.
(5 years and 716 days ago)Looks strong and powerful. I bet this would look great in monochrome too.
(5 years and 716 days ago)Lots to see here. An interesting perspective which is what this competition / exercise is all about.
(5 years and 716 days ago)Am I going boss eyed? I can't find a focal point.
(5 years and 716 days ago)Don't you get an interesting perspective on things when you look up?
(5 years and 716 days ago)Great sense of space.
(5 years and 717 days ago)I love the lines in this shot - the swoop down of the field and the trees 'marching' up in the other direction across the image. I keep looking at the hedge to the left. I have held up a piece of paper to get the feel of what it would be like without that there. Can't make up my mine whether it would be better cropped out to emphasize the lines and curves.
(5 years and 717 days ago)You sure did an excellent job of fooling me. Thank you for responding. I'm still not in the mood to go and find something for this contest, although I must say, I'm looking at life around me quite differently thanks to you.
(5 years and 717 days ago)Is there an emoji for dumb dumb dumb.....muy stupido ....I will look, that would be a good one for me.
(5 years and 717 days ago)I wonder how you did this one? Thank you for making me go crazy.
(5 years and 717 days ago)I think the black from really helps to punch out this presentation. The softness of the darker half really is rather romantic. Nice, thank you.
(5 years and 717 days ago)I have been walking around like a lobotomized zombie trying to find something for this contest and VOILA you have found a beauty of an entry. I really like how simple yet strong this upload is...KUDOS for seeing this and bringing it here for our review. Ahhh I see, it is you....no surprise, you have a clever imagination and you got high score from me cherie.
(5 years and 717 days ago)Oh now you're just being weird.. oh wait.. that's me.. nevermind (love it) hehehe
(5 years and 718 days ago)congrats on 1st!
(5 years and 720 days ago)Congrats!
(5 years and 720 days ago)Congrats!
(5 years and 720 days ago)Yes, I thought that face looked familiar
(5 years and 720 days ago)your welcome
(5 years and 721 days ago)Boy those Google maps are something else huh? I've never been here...yet. Thank you very mucho mucho mucho.
(5 years and 721 days ago)LOVE THIS....she is magical and with that shade of purple on her face and stars we are transported into another realm. Especially wonderful is her connection with the photographer. This is an endearing photograph with technical elements all in place. I bet it will win this contest.
(5 years and 721 days ago)I live in the land of orchids. Now why couldn't I have thought of this....ahhhh. Perfect. Top marks for you .
(5 years and 721 days ago)How fragile this beautiful world is and your image reminds us of the beauty and fragility that surrounds us. It is too bad the bug is not in focus but we get the feeling. Very nice.
(5 years and 721 days ago)Awww love it. A bit tighter crop would work well but overall I love this and our photography teachers used to tell us never to shoot anything from behind...well they are all full of bull-dunk you have proved them wrong.
(5 years and 721 days ago)This is a very nice catch however it is blurred and out of focus. When shooting portraiture it is imperative to have sharpness on the eyes, then all other sins are quickly forgiven.
(5 years and 722 days ago)Nice, no hot spots, no red eyes well done. I like the portrait orientation as well and the non obstructive background. Her pose is comfortable, natural.
(5 years and 722 days ago)Makes you wonder how long this would taken to build, like seeing different locations that probarly will not get the chance to go.
(5 years and 722 days ago)I like this as a different visual photo, not a photo most of us would have seen
(5 years and 722 days ago)I love this contest as we get to go to places I've never been before. A very lovely rural upload with a path given to the viewer that we can walk upon and that leads us to a homestead. Makes one wonder what these peoples lives are all about. Your image is clear and full of story and texture. Wish you would have given us a hint of where this part of the world is located....let me guess. Rural Europe?
(5 years and 722 days ago)Yes this one is about the people
(5 years and 723 days ago)I slightly agree with adam on this, think its sort of divided by the pole, and had it been more about the bread and people on the left of the pole, feel it would have been stronger.
(5 years and 723 days ago)OHhhh Lordie Lordie Lordie....how we talk about bread in Poland to this day. So inexpensive and so darned good. Like everything about this shot, especially since it resurrects so many memories for me (almost did a typing error and called it mamaries....he he he h). Yes, I agree with the pole statement but it does not bother me as the majority of the girl is in the photo. I really like the colour palette of warm oranges, yellows....sort of like the bread....warm and life giving.
(5 years and 724 days ago)Yes - I agree. Lots of fun and interest in this shot.
(5 years and 724 days ago)Great shot. I like the interaction between the two stall holders. This tells a story. I like it.
(5 years and 724 days ago)Love the colour combinations here as well as the stacks of loaves. I think the shot would have been better taken 2 paces to the left so that the girl was not partially covered by the pole.
(5 years and 724 days ago)this is a very classy photo of you and the imagination rocks . I like it a lot.
(5 years and 724 days ago)Come on Chaaaaaarlie!!!!! hehehe
