(5 years and 692 days ago)Hi, why did you use such a shallow dof? Try f16 and up your ISO because you have a tripod so long exposure would work unless you have a breeze blowing then you are out of luck.
(5 years and 692 days ago)Lovely image - parent and child at the end of the day. Well executed.
(5 years and 692 days ago)Classic portrait - well executed. I think it would be improved by cropping from the right and from the bottom.
(5 years and 692 days ago)Nice face and nice pose but the focal point is the end of her 'pony' tail. It makes the rest of the face softer but the eye is drawn away from the prime area which is the face.
(5 years and 692 days ago)Yes, I had trouble with them but watched a you tube that told me to clone em out. Seams...joint marks...same same.
(5 years and 692 days ago)Well, I added my two cents for the mods and contests. AND you have educated me yet again. I have never seen eucalyptus seeds...used only for ornaments interesting. Today I learned that papaya seeds are good for diabetes, liver and kidneys...and I have a papaya ripening on my counter as we speak. Yeah, those mods have a hard job...they have to go through our portfolios to see if we repeat a photo, then they have a hard time with filters....and with members too....
(5 years and 692 days ago)What aperture did you use....? And did you use a tripod?
(5 years and 692 days ago)I would agree with still, there is no one better at street life than her, when taking these sort of photos and indeed any places you find yourself in,i would take a straight forward photo, then look round to see if you can get a different perspective or more of a close-up,photography is all about learning things, but also it is also about what you are happy with...brian
(5 years and 693 days ago)Can I borrow your planet to clean out my ear canals? Love the textural quality to this planet...nice one.
(5 years and 693 days ago)thumbs up for this one too....looks like you know what you were doing and which images worked for this technique. You would make a good teacher...actually, you are already!
(5 years and 693 days ago)No seams, I'm impressed.
(5 years and 693 days ago)This is just a suggestion but if you have IMPRESSIONS filter you could change this into a fine art piece. I like the set up of this one and those blueberries have me miffed...are they screws or blueberries
(5 years and 693 days ago)Original set up, good for you for thinking out of the box, now I will think out of the box as well...I appreciate your inspiration. I like how you included green live plants around those metallic tins. This makes me smile. Light source is well seen and the image is sharp "as a woman's tongue"...
(5 years and 693 days ago)Looks like you put a lot of work into this. Your dof calibration has rendered the bouqest in softness as we gaze deeper into it, it lacks detail. I really like the colour palette.
(5 years and 693 days ago)Ansel Adams once said that no matter how magnificent the landscape/oceanscape we humans will always hone in on the human in the image. And so it is with this emotive capture of father with sun ending their day together. The technical elements within this image are well done, your photograph is crisp and sharp with good detail showing. You sensor is clean of dust spots and the human figures placed into the grid line. A strong photograph, you will do well .
(5 years and 693 days ago)Ending of the day nicely caught. I really like the punchiness of your upload it is visually exciting with bright colours, yet not blown out. Good exposure, good horizontal cut rule applied, good sharpness...yeah, good all round. Nice photo to study.
(5 years and 693 days ago)HOLY CRAP......... ! ! ! ! !.............what a difference. Yeah, I like it a lot better BUT BUT BUT....do you!? It is more to the point. Very nice indeed. chirp chirp.
(5 years and 693 days ago)Me too
(5 years and 693 days ago)Like the fun factor in this.
(5 years and 693 days ago)Hmmm choices choices. The man on the bike is already out of the frame and does it really show a market scene? The big bucket full of eggs is clear and in frame. See that guy in the gray pants looking at you? If you cropped all the way to include him in the frame , and crop up as you really don't need all that road you would have a tighter photo. Then suddenly you have 4 men looking at you, a market scene and humour built in. You do know that you need to take what reviewers tell you with a grain of salt....OY VEY....I mean a bushel of salt. Change only that what feels right for you, listen to your artistic angel, she's probably way more creative than me and my ideas.
(5 years and 693 days ago)You have caught the attention of 5 of those guys! I feel a tighter crop would have made for a stronger image as there really is no strong focal point to hang our hats on. It is a happy snappy image....and sometimes that is just fine and is exactly what others want to see. A change of POV, shooting like no other photographer transports an image from ordinary into the realm of extraordinary. Also, if there is something you want to show us, get in closer, and show us. I do like the airy free feeling you have caught here.
(5 years and 694 days ago)Good one
(5 years and 695 days ago)This is really very nicely done and I quite like it.

(5 years and 698 days ago)Nice job! I like how you kept the depth of field part, of the original image.
(5 years and 698 days ago)I didn't even notice the hands at first! Well done
(5 years and 698 days ago)OH GROAN
(5 years and 699 days ago)Tricky perspective.. but it's a IMPOSSIBLE REALITY contest.. so anything goes if you think about it good luck
(5 years and 699 days ago)EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEKKKKKKKK!!!!!
(5 years and 699 days ago)The water running UPHILL is very confusing and fantastic... poor Diagon Alley... hehehe
(5 years and 699 days ago)Love it...simple and strong.
(5 years and 699 days ago)Top marks....love it. Clear , punchy to the point.
(5 years and 699 days ago)Another top notch post. I give up.
(5 years and 699 days ago)OMG this is goooooood.
(5 years and 699 days ago)UP YOUR ISO !
(5 years and 699 days ago)Now, why couldn't I have thought of that? I like this but it is a bit soft , n'est-ce pas?
(5 years and 700 days ago)OMG The emotive element is top of the shelf here! KUDOS to you for capturing this shot so clearly in low light conditions. What was your ISO? Frankly, I think this is award-winning photography and I feel privileged to study it.
(5 years and 700 days ago)Simply a lovely portrait image composed to the side with plenty of black to give it a Rembrandt feel of chiaroscuro. The image is pin sharp, emotion has been caught because of your timing. It is really a joy to review this photograph. Top marks.
(5 years and 700 days ago)Sharp, clear , great stitching....lovely quality of tonal ranges. Top notch mon petite chou chou.
(5 years and 700 days ago)It feels scratchy! (Wool Reference) hehehe
