(5 years and 930 days ago)YIKES, did you know that you have 27,435 views of this lovely image? How did you manage that? I really like this shot because I can hear it as well as see it....giggle giggle giggle. Taken in Cambodia? Good colour too and the placement of main focus is centered and I wonder how it would look using the rule of 3 grid lines. Still an engaging shot.
(5 years and 930 days ago)Well, I always check in the high resolution when I see blurry photos but it doesn't look sharp there either. What I like about this image is that it is NOT cliche and that is because your POV has taken to another level. Usually we see the eye dead center but I like how we look down and this gives this gargantuan beautiful beast a whisper of fragility and thereby throws the viewer off....and I love to be thrown off kilter a bit.
(5 years and 931 days ago)I have been known to be wrong....just ask my husband he he he he he he.
(5 years and 931 days ago)Joie de vivre.
(5 years and 931 days ago)I had a photo of a "low caste" person slaughtering a cow. I didn't put it up for fear of the sensitivity to such a photograph on this site. I do not think people are diminished when they are doing a job ....it's an honor to be photographed and an honor to have a job. Before the low caste person started slaughtering the cow, he came up to me and we shook hands (because I had seen him before). A small group of men saw this scene and began to laugh like hyenas and with that they were diminished.
(5 years and 931 days ago)I think you know me well enough to know I would do it.
(5 years and 931 days ago)Gutsy gutsy gutsy Romania. We just have to go back.
(5 years and 931 days ago)This picture would have been beautiful if it was not a little too blurry ...
(5 years and 931 days ago)I may have told you this already but the Rhododendron is the national flower of Nepal and it is edible. The Nepali use it to soothe stomach problems and it tastes like lemon. I like your photo and the fact that the white is NOT blown out even tho you had a bright day to shoot this.
(5 years and 931 days ago)Nice patterns that catch the eye....where is this?
(5 years and 931 days ago)Subtle
(5 years and 931 days ago)This is just slightly disturbing LOL
(5 years and 931 days ago)Lovely... though now I want sherbet for some reason LOL
(5 years and 931 days ago)This person is so happy in the muck it almost makes me want to join in the fun. I checked your post in the high resolution as it looks a bit soft and it is so in the high resolution as well. I imagine he was moving quickly....errr sliding quickly. I like how he is the sole focal point...he and the muck.
(5 years and 932 days ago)I like the photojournalistic quality of this photo, the story and frankly I can smell this too. The man absorbed by his work and although it really doesn't look all that dirty I can imagine once the guts start spilling out it is a mess.
(5 years and 932 days ago)So, that is the name of that river....thank you. Showing a lack of respect for the environment. I like the depth of this image...the dirt is never ending it seems. good dof.
(5 years and 932 days ago)Thanks, They look great, never seen them that colour and I love hazelnuts.
(5 years and 932 days ago)Wonderful detail, but is that colour true?
(5 years and 933 days ago)Nice work.
(5 years and 933 days ago)Light in colour, but not really white.
(5 years and 935 days ago)Good find on the face. You forgot the "A", and the lines at the bottom right of the triangle could be aligned better, but overall nice job.
(5 years and 936 days ago)congrats for 3rd places!

(5 years and 938 days ago)Exceptional detail. I especially like the wear on the bag.
(5 years and 939 days ago)Nicely done author. Those eyes telling endless stories, very dramatic and beautiful picture. RIP sir
(5 years and 939 days ago)Disgusting, well captured.
(5 years and 940 days ago)Looks great now!
(5 years and 941 days ago)Not bad except for the girl's shadow, which would be at the same angle as the shadow of the cabinet door. It should also be narrower to conform to the size of her legs. The extension of the floor into the foreground could use refining, too. I like the idea.
(5 years and 942 days ago)Interesting set.
(5 years and 943 days ago)Congrats Sylvie!!
