Yes yes. Much better. My eye does not go straight to the fingerprint now. It opens up the picture much more. It looks like a nice scene and the eye wanders all around. It was like talking to someone with a pimple on their face. Maybe they are beautiful, but all you can see is that pimple.

How long did it take you to cut that out?

There is another bird called the Anhinga. It looks almost like a Cormorant.

I think you are trying to go with an old photo look, but the fingerprint in the bottom right it kind of distracting. At the very least make it see through like a fingerprint would be. The one on the left isn't so bad but it also should be see-through.

The light on the statue is from our right. In the source photo for the cormorant the light is also from the right, but you've reversed it.

Check your light sources. Nice image otherwise.

Oh dear, you have bleeding of red colour past her hat in the background and on the L side of her face there is bleeding as well as on her L shoulder (arm). You can easily eliminate that with your prowess in PS techniques.

Hmmm , I think if you came in closer and cropped tighter eliminating that leaf at the left you would end up with a stronger image. What do you think?

This image really lends itself well to this technique and I'm inspired to try and to look for something like this too. Nice entry.

You would not be able to do that in Canada as a black bear could get you! Further north, like in the Yukon we have grizzlies and around Hudson Bay we have the Polar Bear.
