(5 years and 945 days ago)Photoshop has a smudge tool. It is a feature of the blur tool. The rat looks much better now.
(5 years and 947 days ago)Author, you don't understand what we're talking about. Again, look at the edges of your white rat and compare with the source. You can use a fine smudge brush to pull (drag) small hairs out from the fur to simulate those in the original.
(5 years and 947 days ago)This is a great idea and effort. I have to say the white rat looks "wetter" in the original source though. A Fine (small sized) smudge brush would be in order for the "White Rat indeed". Good luck and have fun.
(5 years and 948 days ago)Congrats Sylvie!!

(5 years and 951 days ago)Congrats Sylvie, very interesting
(5 years and 951 days ago)Ahhhh ha I saw your reflection in the perfume top, saw the classy perfume and put two and two together and I was RIGHT. It is you! Great shot that tells us a lot about the photographer and her 'aristocratic' sensibilities..."mon diue". Love the colours too, muted maroon and gold. Very nice post and I'm so happy I guessed you correctly.
(5 years and 951 days ago)I meant you could refine the edges by making finer hairs. Compare to the source photo.
(5 years and 952 days ago)Well done! A fine smudge brush to pull some hairs on the white rat will improve it.
(5 years and 953 days ago)HOLY GUACAMOLE this is good.
(5 years and 953 days ago)Hahaha No, thats the 3rd one actually
(5 years and 953 days ago)My second guilty pleasure good luck author
(5 years and 953 days ago)Great work author good luck
(5 years and 953 days ago)We have many members from Europe, so it could be anyone's. The reason I ask was that I was out photographing mushrooms today and my friend said that we had more species here than anywhere else, and I remembered your photo.
(5 years and 954 days ago)We got lots of lovely photos, but most of our mushrooms were tiny, and none edible ( I believe)
Interesting mushrooms, where were they taken?
(5 years and 954 days ago)Whenever I see a package of donuts I always wonder how many packages I could eat all at once. I love this guilty pleasure, donuts are a favourite of many. I do think that the cartoon of Mr. Simpson takes front and center stage and the "guilty pleasures" are the back up chorus. Your image is clear and sharp and taken close up without background distractions. YUM
(5 years and 954 days ago)WOW that's tiny! The wiki page is very interesting, thank you.
(5 years and 955 days ago)I'm interested in entomology, I've never seen this little critter, which I have found out is a springtail. Can you give me some info please, for starters how big is it??? It looks very very small.
(5 years and 956 days ago)This photo makes me want to be there with you hiking through these groves. Very clear image, sharp and a delight to review. Thank you.
(5 years and 956 days ago)I really appreciate the description you have given to further flush out the story, so thank you very much. A nicely framed image, framed by the same rocks / bricks that one can see beyond and this gives a wonderful homogenous feel to your upload. Technically your dof is perfect rendering sharpness throughout the planes of the photograph. The lead lines further pull us into the shot and your colour palette is natural. You have shown this well enough to make me want to go there. Thank you again for educating me further.
(5 years and 956 days ago)What is the taste of smoked panda ?
(5 years and 956 days ago)WOW, what an imagination you have. Blew me away and thank you for that
(5 years and 957 days ago)Top Notch!

(5 years and 958 days ago)HOLY GUACAMOLE the visual impact this has on the viewer is phenomenal. We are glued to your work. Mysterious, fantasmagorical, perfect. Top notch in my books.
(5 years and 959 days ago)Love the lines and the symmetry. WOW this was a lot of work and I looked up your sources. You worked from many and managed to create this ingenuous piece. KUDOS is all I can say.
(5 years and 959 days ago)Congrats
(5 years and 959 days ago)congrats!!!
(5 years and 959 days ago)Nice out of the box thinking.

(5 years and 960 days ago)I Dream of Genie Canadian Style! hehehe
(5 years and 961 days ago)Just wonderful. I love these contests which I can't seem to do but I get inspired by your posts.
(5 years and 962 days ago)A very nice macro shot of a rather handsome fellow. The bokeh is perfect not only in blurriness but also the colour palette is exquisite. Those two eyes poking out discombobulate me for there is one big eye looking forward. The image is sharp on the eyes and the detail is nicely seen. Good control of your dof.
