(5 years and 1070 days ago)Congrats Sylvie
(5 years and 1070 days ago)You turn her upside down and backwards and you look at her... listen.. if I have to explain this to you, you aren't old enough to understand.. SHEESH! (really giggling)
(5 years and 1071 days ago)Very good. Done nicely and neatly.
(5 years and 1071 days ago)Nessie is a girl.. hence SHE... what you smoke?
(5 years and 1071 days ago)hehehe
Looks great
(5 years and 1072 days ago)Oh leave Nessie alone.. she never did anything to you!!! Damn Tourists. Fun Chop
(5 years and 1072 days ago)His ears are weird, not bad, just weird .. hehehe.. good luck (I love the landscape!)
(5 years and 1072 days ago)I'm having visions of Mystery Theater on PBS for some reason.. hehehe
(5 years and 1072 days ago)I'm having visions of Mystery Theater on PBS for some reason.. hehehe
(5 years and 1072 days ago)Very nice job, its an Istanbul street i guess. The right part of the guy on the far right, behind the doner cooker still can be seen but if that's how it's supposed to be, its ok
(5 years and 1072 days ago)That took a while
(5 years and 1072 days ago)You have managed to capture a visual PING! Can you feel it too when viewing this? A visual PING means we get attracted to the photograph for the elements within are well thought out and presented not only in an artistic format but also technical superiority. For example:: Your chosen DOF makes this rock! Furthermore the POV brings the image directly to us without muss or fuss and also the colour palette...ahhh blue and yellow never look as good as when they are found together...they are opposites on the colour wheel and you use this well. Sharp and all encompassing, this is a lovely entry and I have learned from it....thank you for posting inspirational images.
(5 years and 1075 days ago)Ohhh this is lovely. You may want to change the maroon coloured stems (rather base) of those flowers into b/w as this contest calls for orange only. I love the swoosh across the canvas, that flowly feeling the sharpness is there and the dof works to bring in a dreamy image.
(5 years and 1075 days ago)good rock photo showing this group in action, it comes across in this at a well defining moment of the music, well taken photo
(5 years and 1075 days ago)You have used the principle of juxtaposition well with that large leaf and tiny spider, our eyes enjoy seeing this...and your selective colour technique is well done...please look at the right of your leaf, there in the corner...see that pop of colour....did you mean for that to be there because if you didn't you can always go back to the photo and use your desaturation brush and take out that pop of reddish/brown.
(5 years and 1076 days ago)You really caught good motion here and this image excites us. With no blow outs yet sharp we can't help but get into their rhythm. Colour palette is soothing, they are all engaged. Yes, this pshoto works for me.
(5 years and 1076 days ago)A knock em dead upload with a diagonal slant and I have checked your photo in high resolution and could not find spillage of orange...WELL DONE. The photograph is sharp, nice exposure and engages the viewer with delight.
(5 years and 1076 days ago)Personally I like the dark street better, but you did a good job removing the people.
(5 years and 1077 days ago)Nicely done, good luck =]]
(5 years and 1078 days ago)Great job, the mood / color is really nice.
(5 years and 1078 days ago)I agree with Skyangel, I'd have the wire come more clearly out of the tattoo. But I love the idea of adding a 2nd bird as a kind of companion.
(5 years and 1079 days ago)My husband tells me that every day is Valentine's Day...ahhhhhh.
(5 years and 1083 days ago)I have to tell you that the prices of your chocolates caused me to fall off my chair! 28 Euros for a box of chocolates...it's gotta be love.
(5 years and 1084 days ago)This is really clear and sharp and screams out Valentines Day --- the message comes across loudly. I wonder if a polarizing filter would help to eliminate those nasty reflections in the window.
Lovely colour and I hope you get a box of chocolates on this special day.
My father, who lived through WW2 always used to say to me "with bread and water you will never find hunger" (it sounds much better in my own language I must admit)
(5 years and 1084 days ago)My goodness, I think they are in love with you, coming at you and at me! A lovely POV brings this image to our hearts immediately. Technically it is well handled and I love that bench in the background, it adds meat to the locale of the story of photograph. Quack quack!
(5 years and 1084 days ago)Love is all about flowers...always. I can read the word affectionately which further enhances this story. Photographically this is a well taken shot with good exposure, contrast and light source is diffused rendering no hard shadows. The image is well balanced and solidly presented and oozes with affection.
(5 years and 1084 days ago)The white lady is supposed to be a ghost in the myth. I think she would look more "Ghost Like" if you made her slightly opaque or transparent.
(5 years and 1085 days ago)Cool...I do not know this drink at all. Here in Thailand we have Red Bull, Chang Beer, Singha Beer. Frankly I would rather have a hot chocolate fudge sundae...ha ha ha ha
(5 years and 1086 days ago)I like your title and how it leads us into the story of your photograph. I would not have minded to see more bottle and NO I do not mind that you have amputated part of his head off for the meaning and the meat are felt. The photo is sharp and well rendered technically. Had you shot this from another POV it would have been a completely different photograph instead of face on....however, that is artistic prerogative.
(5 years and 1086 days ago)What a great portrait and to think we eat these guys...sheesh.
(5 years and 1087 days ago)I think you did a great job with eye catchement...the fact he's looking at you (and therefore us) rivets us to the photograph. Furthermore, the sharpness is spot on, even the hairs on his snout are pronounced. Nice tight crop that further pulls us in readily and a well bokeh-ed (is that a word?) background that does not compete with the image but supports it and helps to pop out the wonderful colour. It is well exposed is bright with good tonal contrasts.
YUM YUM
Not only happiness but togetherness exudes from this image and it is the kind of photograph that makes one warm and fuzzy inside (excuse the cliche phrase). A lovely family portrait tightly and appropriately cropped, visually balanced.
(5 years and 1087 days ago)That's better.
(5 years and 1087 days ago)I understand that but if you use masks and layers, you can control how much of the filter effect goes where. You don't necessarily need to have the same strength of filter on the whole scene.
(5 years and 1088 days ago)You might be interested in the following tutorial.

The process can be applied to any filters which have controllers on them.
Good job of changing the face on the model but personally I don't like the strong texture effect on the face. However, it's probably just a matter of personal taste.
(5 years and 1089 days ago)The girl looks happy even if she is lost in translation or lost in the world.
A good effort which could be improved by using some kind of transition to blend the tat with the dragon sculpture. The way you have done it, makes it look like the dragon sculpture is something separate to the tattoo which is just wrapped around the arm or pasted on top of the arm. It does not look like the tattoo is coming alive out of the arm.
(5 years and 1089 days ago)To make a tattoo look like it is coming alive, the "real" thing needs to be blended with the tat so both sources look like part of each other.
The following tutorial shows you how to add a transitional fade effect from one image to another using masks.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=engv1NdwgZ8
The idea is good but I think it could be made great if you blend the real bird with the tattoo to make the tat actually look like its coming alive rather than looking like it is just a shadow. You could also make the wire transition better to look like the wire is coming out of the leg rather than just wrapping around the tattoo on the leg.
(5 years and 1089 days ago)Middle Eastern? That is a complete Baroque style outfit that has nothing to do either with Turkish culture nor Tunusia =]] I know what you meant but the detailing do not belong to neither of those
(5 years and 1089 days ago)It helps that he's dead.. BWHAA HAA HAA... oh I'm terrible.. LOL
(5 years and 1089 days ago)I'm glad to hear from me again too.. had a little hiccup at the doctors office... I may have to change my name to Robo Slush.. LOL damn robots taking all our jobs.. hehehe.. and you could hear from me a whole lot more if you take me to dinner and movie first.. hehehe (J/K)
(5 years and 1089 days ago)You're going to get a huge spanking from Salvador Dali.. hehehe.. I'm sure he'd approve.. but then again, he approved of ANYTHING that involved him (the narcissistic bastard) one of the few narcissists that earned the title.. hehehe.. good work
(5 years and 1089 days ago)Oh why not add a Bear in the background just for sheets and giggles.. LOL.. no wait.. a Grizzly would be perfect.. hehehe
(5 years and 1089 days ago)Love the texture filter giving it a very fun look.. good luck
Ahh, if images are supposed to tell us a story your upload does so in spades (that is just an English idiom that means a lot). Elena, a European hard working woman is welcoming us with her "kolach" (braided bread) and a "shot" of something to warm our blood. Photographically the image is sharp, well exposed, clear and nicely cropped. Do not panic about having Elena's head partially amputated. Professional portrait photographers nowadays lop off limbs, heads and the reason they give is "if the emotion is caught then that is all that matters"...and your image is packed with emotion.
(5 years and 1090 days ago)Well that explains it, he didn't want to be a princess... LOL...
(5 years and 1090 days ago)wow... she is not impressed, lovely shot
(5 years and 1090 days ago)Congratz!
(5 years and 1091 days ago)Congratulations Sylvie.
(5 years and 1091 days ago)Author, your forget to add a bear with Kalasnikov to your pic.
(5 years and 1091 days ago)LOL from your stereotypical thinking
Looks like you never been to Russia.
First, I am RUSSIAN and I never heard the name "NADESHA" before.
Google says this name is popular in India.
Second, the girl looks like from some middle east country in this non-russian outfit.
Third, for your information, Russian women prefer wine
Fourth, please change the background to Istanbul or Tunisia, it will be more realistic.
Have a nice day or night
