Good work ajzaib47. Nice chop. Voting was weird on this contest.
(5 years and 694 days ago)nice idea... different to the norm, WD ,,, would've scored higher if it didn't have the telltale 'cut-and-paste' look, try softening/feathering the edges of your montage elements (just by a few pixel) you'll be surprised the difference! Pix xx
(5 years and 703 days ago)Is the monk secretly in love with the ballerina? Or is he spying on her to learn some moves for the Shaolin Ball? Perhaps she is trying to "woo" the monk with her beautiful dance..
(5 years and 707 days ago)A few suggestions. The bottom of the barn is not blended in well with that snow. Quick and easy fix would be to clone some snow on top of the barn. Just "dab" with a soft round brush to to make high-ish and low-ish points so it's not just a straight line.
That blue in her skirt-thing is distracting. A quick fix would be to Clip a Hue/Sat Layer and adjust the "Lightness" of either the Blues and/or Cyans to make them more white. After that, make sure the Adjustment Layer's Mask is all Black to hide what you just did. Then paint white on the mask where the blue yucky stuff is. Now it's all gone. Also as Zizounai said, there is a bunch of residue garbage all around the girl. It shows up when you are zoomed in.
In my opinion her skin is too warm so you may want to give it more of a blue tint to reflect the "Coolness" of the snow scene. Perhaps a Cooling Filter, masked only to her skin, would be easiest or however you see fit. There is too much black under her foot, and when you cut her out you missed a nice chunk between her knees.
Besides that, it's a pretty cool fantasy scene.
Very well done, it looks well like an island now! You should just erase the cutting tracks left around the dancer. They are very visible in high res.
(5 years and 707 days ago)Could just be a big rock...we can't see if it's floating or not.
(5 years and 708 days ago)Source 1 and 5 are the same, please correct that and add any additional source if any.
(5 years and 1161 days ago)Why am I waiting to hear a "GOLD INVESTMENT" commercial on the radio.. whoops... just looked at the title.. As Emily Latella would say, "Nevermind."
(5 years and 1161 days ago)Congrats!

(5 years and 1286 days ago)Creative cool!
(5 years and 1294 days ago)agree, love the changes -looks much better.. creative .
(5 years and 1297 days ago)Looks much better!
(5 years and 1299 days ago)hehehe, good thinking, some one is going to get a whooping in the design department for non color matching LOL Good luck author
(5 years and 1299 days ago)Good idea. Try to give it a surface to sit on instead of just a gradient background.
(5 years and 1299 days ago)Everything is right now, but in future please don't put your name in any comments, entries must be anonymous.
(5 years and 1304 days ago)Have no idea why, but this reminds me of Epic Mickey 2 video game for some reason.. good luck author
(5 years and 1304 days ago)Author, the mars image you have used is someone else's render, which is not acceptable. You can find usable images of Mars at the Nasa website. http://mars.nasa.gov/multimedia/images/
(5 years and 1305 days ago)Please read http://www.pxleyes.com/courses/guide/
Author, (Just a suggestion) there are some "Bluing" debris around the neck of the green parrot face. Fixing that will help you get a higher score from voters. You may want to explore using a super tiny/soft "Smudge" tool to make the edge of the neck "Fuzzy/Furry" instead of so sharply cut.
(5 years and 1308 days ago)Little details help in the realism. This is a fun idea and I wish you luck.
You'll find many members (especially Gold Members like those who commented here) are willing to offer helpful advice. You can learn a lot from them as we all have. Be sure to check out the Step By Steps posted with some entries, they can help you learn by seeing how the authors have created their entries. You'll also find useful information in the forum as well and you can post questions there to get advice and opinions from other members. Welcome to Pxleyes, I hope you enjoy spending time here and learn to improve your skills.
(5 years and 1321 days ago)When searching PIXABAY, always remember to click the PHOTOS filter. The illustrations/render will usually be edited out. Just double check the source to make sure it's a PURE photo, and not an altered photo. Good luck author, extra points for sticking to it
(5 years and 1321 days ago)I see you have changed your entry and used new sources however source 1: crown is also an illustration and can't be used. You have to be careful when choosing an image to be sure it isn't an illustration, you can see the tags listed for the image include "free illustration" which indicates that the image is an illustration. You can also see that the image is rendered by simply examining it.
(5 years and 1321 days ago)You have to replace the crown with a photographic source that is acceptable. I found several on pixabay that would work and I suggest you try this image: https://pixabay.com/en/crown-sweden-stockholm-377903/
I checked using this crown and it fits very well in your entry.
The source 2: Thomas Edison is an acceptable source and okay to use. Just replace the crown and your entry will be fine.
If you have any questions just send me a PM (http://www.pxleyes.com/profile/spaceranger/) and I'll be glad to help.
Author, (guidelines aside) you have plenty of time to bring this chop into the realm of competition.
(5 years and 1324 days ago)You can change the title by going to your profile and MY ENTRIES, just click the title and it will allow you to alter it.
I like the overall thinking on the chop and you can find the appropriate sources by doing CC searches (Creative Commons with Modifications being allowed).
It's hard when you first start out, but you will get the hang of it. You have a definite talent and welcome to PXLeyes.
When using outside sources it is very important that your resources fall into the realm of creative commons, this way the image is truly yours and it will help you move forward in your work.
Nothing is worse then creating a great image and then having the Disney Corp come out of nowhere and thump your rump...hehehe.. good luck.
Again, plenty of time to fix this. (Welcome to PXLeyes, again.. wink wink.)
Source 1 is a render, and not useable.
(5 years and 1324 days ago)5.6. 3D Renders or Illustrations as Source:
Using other people's 3D renders or illustrations (even with permission and no matter in which form they are offered) creates a false impression of your artwork. So 3D renders or illustrations can not be used as sources, unless they are entirely created by yourself. Only acceptable non-illustration brushes and clip art may be used, but you need to mention them as a source too. Don't use an image that has been altered by the source owner nor an entire work created by someone else.
Source 2 is from a blog and not offered under a Creative Commons license.
Source 3 is OK but not linked correctly.
