It might have been cool if you'd see a squirrel in front of the camera that's posing for the guy, so he's really meant to stay on that specific spot (which of course would have been marked with an X), but ok then you have to move some things here and there. Good idea, but you would have had to warp the helmet to accommodate the long snout.

(5 years and 2307 days ago)The nose should be darker.... like a dogs, and the era should come out more... and the 'v' shape marking on the face runs straight across the nose... that needs to be darker....

(5 years and 2307 days ago)re the eye.... it's kind of lost the dark rim around the iris... but you did a good job moving it!?.
you may want to lighten the mid tones and shadows on the body of the dog (or use curves with a large featheresd lasso selection) The hole should be fine!...

Good work, but the Navii didn't have red lips.
(5 years and 2307 days ago)Light on dog is from upper left. Shadow should rotate about 90 degrees clockwise. Lighting on man's head is much less harsh than in the source image. Could be adjusted accordingly.

I would crispen (if that's even a word!) up the edges of the hole (front and sides) and loose the 'ground' at the front just leaving that as head!

(5 years and 2311 days ago)Looks better! It's hard to judge the light source in the background image, but I think the woman's shadow could be rotated about 10-20 degrees clockwise. See how it looks to you that way.
(5 years and 2311 days ago)Just an idea...lose the wings & make the hair less green. Then the image would be more realistic. By flipping the head you have created conflicting light sources on the figure, so the shadow doesn't know where to go. Think about it...this could be a much better entry.

(5 years and 2319 days ago)It's much better - I just noticed that you've got conflicting light sources but it's not a major thing.... the main point was that it was too red, I still stick by my comment, I would have liked to see what you came up with, with a little more elaboration to the piece... but time is short so...
