aww i just love tortoises and turtles! i have two very spoiled aquatic turtles named Spongebob & Sabrena, they're my world, no one truly knows how much personality a turtle has until they really observe it.. great photo author!

I think I would reshoot this. Paint the fingernails fresh because it detracts from the composure of the shot. The hands are the focus...might as well have them look their best

a little small and dark, and without a high res it's hard to tell.

seems there is only light on one side. Maybe try lighting it from the left also?
