Great concept!

For size differences, try changing both images to meet in the middle. Do size change before you bring them together and it's best not do it with the transformation tool. Use Image>Image Size (Alt+Cnt+I) or if you have it available use OnOne Genuine Fractals for resizing.

Love what you have done and it is an excellent image. I am sorry I am too late in saying this as I know there is nothing you can do ... the hand (and parts of the hair) could have been cutout a little cleaner (try using a layer mask and then you can smooth it into the image in small amounts ... I use the smudge tool to gently nudge the mask over areas that are difficult to cut). Other than that it is really a very excellent piece of work!

Lovely work. Has a delicate feel to the whole image and the composition well done. The way the floral overlay directs the viewer to her eye. Works for me!

As Ponti said Creeeeppppy ... I would hate to meet those 2 on a dark stair way ... and try running away in the snow, slipping and sliding. I'd probably slip and fall and crack my head open. Maybe that is what they want! Okay, now I will definitely have nightmares tonight.

As to the snow. I can understand why you want it. If you PM me I can give you some tips on making snow brushes. Ponti's method works well and there are a few other things you can try that don't involve too much work.

Has a great feel to it ... unfortunately as Adhir said there is some white on the pillar where her hand is that takes away from the red effect. I also find the white glow around her is a bit distracting but that could be just me?

Compostition wise it might be better to have the tower a little more off to the side ... it isn't quite centered but a little more to the side might give the image even more tension ... it is one of those things that I would have to play with as you may already have found the "ideal" composition. Fascinating image. Not sure if I like the texture ... it is great in the background but over the figure it is not quite working. Sorry I am so late with my comment (I was sick) ...
