Love the surreal imagery in this picture ... the juxtaposition of the butterfly and skeleton is beautiful and strange. Life and death depicted with a delicacy that transcends the technical.

Shadows and lighting are very difficult but sometimes it is nice just to enjoy an image as a piece of artwork. For this image I find myself ignoring the technical and allowing some room for "artistic license" ... letting the art speak to me!

There is one thing that I noticed in hi res ... there is a very thin line that runs - horizontally along the midway point, through the neck of the bottle, up the side of the bottle's neck, through the where the red and pink horse met and across the top just over the yellow horses head. I am sure you just missed it or it is something to do with the upload compression but thought you might like to know ;-D

Very interesting composition ... the outline around her could be softened a bit ... it is a little rough in Hi res (using the blur tool on a very low setting can help eliminate this and/or a low setting clone over the outline helps too).

Sorry about the arm ... I looked at it as close as I could in hi res ... but I know how things can fool the eye. When you are creating an image you know what is going on ... as a viewer I can sometimes see things differently (a good example is Glockman's entry in the Stone face ... I could have sworn there were 6 finger but when I looked in SBS he was right ... there are the correct amount of fingers)!
