I thought that I had faved this one! My bad! But it's done now!

Very emotional and has strong impact.

A few suggestions: a little more blending on the man's arm where it lies on the rock (edge is just a little to hard)... and the lighting... a possible solution would be to take out one of the lighting bolts so it is not so symmetrical; that would also give you a more definate light source ... then lighten/darken and add shadows from there.

Good story here though and as I said before, very powerful piece.

Absolutely fascinating ... you have to view in Hi Res to get the full impact of the of the tiny hairs caught in the bubble ... wonderfu!

May not be the best technical image (see above critiques for more on that) ... that is just time, practice and a willingness to learn (which the author has shown).

BUT ...on the other hand; it is a very emotional image and when I first looked at it (before reading the comments) I got goosebumps. You get points from me for that alone. Great concept!

Title says it all ... Statue on a Pier ...so (IMO) it would look out of place on the water ... but I still count 6 fingers on the left hand (actually it is 5 fingers with the thumb out of sight but the eye sees, what the eyes wants to see and just knowing the thumb is there makes it 6)!

Now ... all that aside, it is a wonderful image and you have done amazing things with the source! Bravo!

Interesting piece.

Could use a little clean up in the cuts on some areas (picture frame upper edge, bridge fence in the foreground left-side, between the birds feet), also where you have added the fence part of bridge in the foreground could use a little more blending ...the line is a bit too definite where you have added onto the fence (if you are using a program with layer masks they can help with blending ... they are also great for fine tuning masks).

It is such a lovely idea ... would be a drag to lose votes
