ROFL ...what can I say ... it wonderful!
(5 years and 3407 days ago)Strange, stranger and strangest! Great concept, truly an unusual twist. Super!
(5 years and 3407 days ago)Strong impact and great composition, very nice.
(5 years and 3407 days ago)Great image ... one of the most humorous things I have seen! Loved the SBS ... I laughed the whole way through and then went back a looked at it to see what you had done. Steps 5, 10, 11, and 12 had me in stitches and any of them would have made a great image! Wonderful, glorious work, thanks for the smile!
(5 years and 3407 days ago)Like the way you used the branch for the waves!
(5 years and 3407 days ago)Just waiting for him to salute! Great and different work. Like the originality; the hat and coat are just too perfect!
(5 years and 3407 days ago)Wow ... great work! Congratulationson 1st place!
(5 years and 3408 days ago)Interesting piece ... I agree with Giulia about the title! Wish there was a hi-res.
(5 years and 3408 days ago)Lovely, mood evoking image!
(5 years and 3408 days ago)Great image! I like it completed ...IMO the glow and lighting added after step 4 work. It is a different image without them; just as good but not as much on theme.
(5 years and 3408 days ago)Very good ... your concept is very sound and your choice of stock is great; you definitely have an eye for composition. There is a little more work needed on the cutting out of "Pandora".
(5 years and 3409 days ago)If you are using a program with layer masks try using them to mask your image. You can start with the lasso tool (or whatever tool for selecting you like) after the basic selection is done you can go in and really refine it with a brush, I will even use the smudge tool to smooth and soften the outline.
Layer masks and adjustment layers give a lot more control and are non-destructive so you always have you original to go back to for reference. For fine tuning nothing works like a layer mask/adjustment layer
NOTE: using the Pen tool is also a great way to create selections but the learning curve is a bit fierce, worth the effort though!
Wonderful ... this is such an incredible piece of art! Congratulations!!!
(5 years and 3409 days ago)I am not usually a fan of HDR but this is a fascinating image! Great work!
(5 years and 3409 days ago)Must be a fascinating drive. You'll have to mention where it is when the contest is over. Lovely shot.
(5 years and 3409 days ago)This has got to be Lochcarron! I recognize the little boat with the yellow roof! Am I right?
(5 years and 3409 days ago)I tried to get something like this when we stayed there but nothing I have is half as nice as this! Great shot.
Congrats!!! I thought I had commented on this before but I guess I was speechless when I first say it. Great, humourous and wonderful creation. He is a marvel!
(5 years and 3410 days ago)You deserve 1st!!!
Wow. What a change from the source photo. Terrifying ... and terrrific!!!
(5 years and 3410 days ago)Love the use of primary colours and he is priceless ... but can it be a bottle of wine instead of beer? Flowers and beer just doesn't have the same ring!
(5 years and 3410 days ago)I truly love the positive aspect of this piece. It is a sad image but there is hope portrayed as well; not easy to get both in one image. Well thought out and lovely statement on a devastating illness. Well done author!
(5 years and 3410 days ago)Very fun ... love Driven's comment! And your answer!
(5 years and 3410 days ago)Amazing ... truly wonderful. Infrared filter, yes? Lovely scene even without and that just adds to it incredibly!
(5 years and 3410 days ago)Apocalyptic!
(5 years and 3411 days ago)An amazing masterpiece! Bravo!
(5 years and 3411 days ago)What everyone said and more ... if I had any word left ... but I am speechless with awe
(5 years and 3411 days ago)A little strange but well done!
(5 years and 3411 days ago)Lovely ...Mr. Adams would approve. Seriously, wonderful photograph!
(5 years and 3411 days ago)Lovely ... I have seen this the light do this but never been able to catch it as well. Great shot!
(5 years and 3411 days ago)Truly beautiful shot ... I agree about the straightening. It is slight but would make this close to perfect! But all in all wonderful capture!
(5 years and 3411 days ago)Lovely photo.
(5 years and 3411 days ago)Wonderfully ... even the tilted horizon gives it an extra eerie edge! Very Blair-ish indeed!
(5 years and 3411 days ago)Lovely!
(5 years and 3411 days ago)Stunning, high points from me. The detail is incredible, the capture is perfect and the lighting adds to the mood beautifully. Bravo!
(5 years and 3411 days ago)Wonderful detail and really tells a story. Reminds me of an old Life magazine photo. Has great journalistic flavour!
(5 years and 3411 days ago)Lovely ... love the detail of the chair against the soft edge of her cheek.
(5 years and 3411 days ago)Love the contrast ... interesting take, seeing a sunny day in black and white (I am assuming it is a sunny day as people are lying in the shade
(5 years and 3411 days ago)Gorgeous scene, what amazing clouds.
(5 years and 3411 days ago)I agree ... lovely shot!
(5 years and 3411 days ago)Incredible ...what an imagination! You have come up with a wonderful concept and great excecution of the whole thing; I particularly like the eyes and the lizard (which I did not notice at first, which made it even better). Bravo!
(5 years and 3412 days ago)Wonderful work. What great character you have captured with these three. You can hear them plotting.
(5 years and 3412 days ago)The background with it's gritty texture works so well. Almost looks like it was drawn with charcoal which considering that I see them as Coal miners seems very appropriate.
LMAO! Love it ... I want one of these for my coffee table, that would brighten up the room!
(5 years and 3412 days ago)I really like this one ...not really a suggestion just a thought ... it would be interesting to see her more monochromatic ... the original Betty Boop was mostly Black and White ... she was barely even grayscale. In this case I am not sure how that would work but it would be fun to see it that way and compare the two.
(5 years and 3413 days ago)Really great job though and perfect model for her!
Great ... laughed out loud at this one ... everyone at work wondered if I was crazy. No, wait, they know that already!
(5 years and 3413 days ago)LOL ... what a hoot!
(5 years and 3413 days ago)Great ... I never watched the cartoon but I checked it out and she is very well done!
(5 years and 3413 days ago)I like the close up ... I knew who/what he was immediately so it worked for me ... chuckle, giggle and chuckle!
(5 years and 3413 days ago)She's wonderful ... agree about Thing ... image works fine or maybe even better without it/him. Just really like the Morticia!
(5 years and 3413 days ago)ROFL ... super fun.
(5 years and 3413 days ago)LOL ... this is wonderful, amazing and downright hilarious. Gotta love him! Good luck ... he is perfect!
(5 years and 3413 days ago)Guess you added his hat! ROFL ... just love him!
(5 years and 3413 days ago)Fun image ... agree about the hi res but from what I can see ...really good work.
