Great work ...but the guidelines say you should include a sample of the artist you are "copying" or a link to his work. The contest is being judged on how well you imitated the artist but we have to know who.

I am surprised this didn't do better. Lovely concept ... maybe it was too subtle. I think a lot of people don't view in Hi-res and in this picture it was very important to "see" it. Anyway it is a winner in my book!

Great work ... just one little thing ...according to the guidelines the SBS should contain an image of the artist you are 'counterfeiting" ... or if you are concerned about copyright then a link to his work. I am sure everyone knows Dali but just in case someone has been asleep for the last 100 years it will help them to see what a wonderful job you have done!

A worm with glasses ... just my kind of worm ... now the real question is ... is he a book worm or a tomato worm or some strange new hybrid ... a boomato worm?

Author the choice is yours ... I think that you have a wonderful image here! I took a long look at it in Hi-res ... IMHO I feel that the Hummingbird and the Tomato are very good! The 2 blackbirds and dragonfly are distractions from the overall composition and pull the eye away from the focal point of your image (hummingbird and tomato).

There is a saying that "sometimes, less is more" in this case I think that your picture would have more impact with less happening ...and the general consensus is you would improve your image if you removed the blackbirds and dragonfly but as I said ... in the end the choice is yours!

Great concept and well done ... I found the butterfly ...it took me a little longer than greymval but not too much. I was very methodical about it and definitely has to High-high res to locate it! Lovely work! Bravo!

Wonderful detail and a very delicate touch! Don't know about "real" or "not real" but I do know that it look almost surreal to me and I find the lighting works.

Lighting is a tricky; I think it is possible to have 2 light sources and one of them can be out of the picture and therefore casting light on the boy, boat and turtle head (in that case there would be a slight shadow on the turtle head from the rod and the lighting could be a bit more consistent for the turtle and the boy). Just a thought as I know it is too late to change anything.

Ah yes I remember it well, headphones, a few other items and In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida for me the only thing that every came close was Frankies "Pleasuredome" but that was a few years later!!! Love your creation!

Oh no! Fly little bird, fly!!!! Great work ... I would probably take out the 2 black birds and dragonfly ... the Hummingbird is perfect and I think the others actually distract from the focal point of the image and the sizes seem off (dragonfly is a little too big and Blackbirds a too small) which throws off the overall impact of the image!
